Tata's sedan code named Kite spied in different color and variant seen previously.

Spied in a new Orange body colour with black bumpers, which suggest that this could be an entry level variant. But at the same time, it also features alloy wheels, which in the case of cousin Tiago, is only offered on the top of the line variant.

alloy wheel design is same as that of Tiago, ditching the attractive alloy design which was showcased at the Auto Expo. Other interesting design update to be noted is the rear chrome slat, which is visibly thicker and different to that of the chrome strip found on the Kite 5 officially showcased earlier.

Before the launch of Tiago, a leaked image showed a white Tiago with balck bumpers. But when they lunched it, even the base variant got body colored bumpers. So i don't think this is the production ready car that they are testing.

The car looks well proportioned even on 14 inch wheels.
The Tiago's Orange color will also be offered on this. It would be better if they offered a specially unique color on the Kite 5, which is not available on the Tiago.
The Nano's Damson Purple with chrome highlights would look really fab!

Along with that, would love to see an actual Black color on this car as it would look awesome with some chrome detailing or custom Decals.
The Damson purple and the "Jaguar XF type" would look fab on this car.
The Blue of the Zest also looks good.

woooohooo DJBro at work again. I tell you these are some lovely colorshades you have given. However you can expect couple of these with the tried and tested white silver grey and brown. May be a striker blue and a dark blue may make a cut but definitely no black or green forget the purple. Never seen any midsize car in black color these days. wonder why such a beautiful color is not used?

The Espresso Brown I didn't feel like doing. Anyway will do it for you all. I though Tata would not give this color for the Kite 5 and replace it with a unique color.

Imagined an ACTIV variant similar to the Tiago Activ.
Used it's alloys, but low profile tires.

Did anyone notice the "eagle wings" shape of the front bumper grille on my custom KITE 5 Activ?
I thought this design would suit the sharp design of the rest of the car.

An engine's capability cannot be judged by it's displacement itself. Yeah, the 1.05 Revotorq may seem small, but I guess Tata will be upgrading the power from 70 bhp to atleast 85bhp for the Kite5.
Maybe that is why the testing is still going on.
Just my guess.

Good thought but i don't think they will spike up the power up from 70bhp. I strongly say this because if they do so then Zest will not have any takers. Remember they recently made changes to Zest trims and now only XT gets 90 bhp and the rest all are plonking the 74 bhp motor. So i feel Kite S should be having the same engine as in Tiago.
