Zica Does it have a meaning? Sounds weird but I hope it grows on us soon.

Zica is for Hatchback & Sway is for sedan??

There was a rumour that Zica would be the name of sedan and Sway for Hatchback.....

The meaning of sway is “To control”. Zica on the other hand means hypen, which could even mean extension. So, could Sway stand for the Kite hatchback and Zica as the compact sedan (as the hypenation of the hatchback...Dont know as Tata had also registered names like Buck, Razzle, Haze and Woo.

Nice rendering but I guess according to tata sway spyshots the rear doors looks like all new design it's bigger then tata zica and room linings are just like BMW x1

I have made the door longer. Compare with the Zica and see ji.
The BMW-like roof lining can't be noticed in this angle ji.

Tata Zica-based compact sedan could debut at Auto Expo 2016 – Report

OnCars reports that the Tata Zica-based compact sedan could debut at the Auto Expo 2016 in Greater Noida in February. The publication suggests that the model could be launched in the second quarter of 2016.

Expected to be launched with a starting ex-showroom price close to INR 4 lakhs, the Tata Zica sedan will replace the Tata Indigo eCS in the private passenger car market. As such, the Zica sedan will have no real competition, but on price, expect it to compete with base variants of the Hyundai Xcent, the Ford Figo Aspire, the Maruti DZire and the Honda Amaze.
It would be powered by the same engines that do duty on the Tata Zica hatchback, which are the 1.2-litre three-cylinder Revotron petrol engine and the 1.05-litre three-cylinder Revotorq diesel motor. The former produces 85 PS at 6,000 rpm and 114 Nm at 3,500 rpm, and the latter generates 70 PS at 4,000 rpm and 140 Nm at 1,800-3,000 rpm. Both would initially be offered only with five-speed manual transmissions.

Pretty interesting design of boot close door. Not the notch back nor the conventional. In between and pillars are quite different, fastback enduced with sedan.

But still we don't know how the boot lid will opens design seems like a notch back style I hope that the rear boot door will opens like octavia type it gives special identity in segment

No it will not open like octavia. Check carefully. There are panel cuts on pillar up than conventional sedan boot doors.

The Octavia type setup is pretty costly and Sway would be placed as the cheapest CS. Not a viable option. Rest time will tell what Tata has in store for us

maybe there is a chance to get Octavia type boot lid please observe in below image looks panel gap between rear glass and body that flowting upwards upper section of class looks like hatchdoor opening mechanism

It's the same as it's in my Chevy sail sedan and the fast back shape as well, it might be for spoiler however if it's like octavia setup then its realy great but in the same pic slightly lower we can see body cuts which seems like boot lid panel gaps.

Don't know lets hope it's octavia like setup as I really like that setup and it aids easy storage.

yes there is and body cut but i think maybe the whole metal panel of boot lid may attached to glass frame and having spoiler is not possible in sedans if rear glass is fixed position

It is rain gutter. In final production model it will be (or may not be) having a black rubber strip running from the front to back.

PS: But i am not arguing against (or for) your claim that its an Octavia like rear hatch door.

On another note, looks like TATA is going to unveil Sway (compact sedan) in Auto Expo.

The report in Oncars indicates Tata Motors will unveil the compact sedan at the Auto Expo 2016, to be held at Greater Noida, in February. The compact sedan is expected to get the name Sway, which Tata Motors have registered along with Zica.

Tata Zica-based compact sedan (Tata Sway) snapped testing – Spied

Team-BHP member, Karts, spotted the Tata Zica-based compact sedan testing on the way to Satara, Maharashtra. It is expected to break cover at the Auto Expo 2016 next month.
