GBR, TATA is kind of following Suzuki's path. In S-Cross and Baleno, except for the tilted "s" logo on boot door and model's name, Suzuki hasn't applied any badge of "SUZUKI" or "Maruti Suzuki". Moreover, Suzuki has gone a step ahead by not mentioning the variant even in their cars i.e S-Cross or Baleno.[:D]

Well I feel that Suzuki is in transition of creating a luxury brand Nexa. Which is why I guess they have refrained from using Suzuki monogram on the cars. Probably when Nexa brand is launched they may have Nexa logo monogram and the car variant on the cars. This is one angle of my thought.

The other way to look at this is they want to differentiate these premium cars from rest of the suzuki cars. They want to do away with the variants type fixing which again creates discrimination between cars. All nexa cars Scross and Baleno are the same (read Premium) No Alpha beta zeta etc. I am not following these cars closely but i get a feel that all the variants are pretty much the same exterior wise. Which mean the variantion is majorly done on interiors and under the hood. (like hill control airbags, sensors etc)

I am not following these cars closely but i get a feel that all the variants are pretty much the same exterior wise. Which mean the variantion is majorly done on interiors and under the hood. (like hill control airbags, sensors etc)
Including interiors, external features like Alloys, Projectors, chrome addon etc do differentiate the variants but a separate variant badge can surely be of much help.

Still Few sources are saying that TATA Kite is powered by NA-Version of Revotron 1.2T barrowed from BOLT/ZEST. [surprise] if this true then its not a right direction for TATA for a product like TATA kite. TATA Should have to come up with all new engines not please tata dont save your money using old junk

Why would you call last year's Revotron old junk !? They definitely need not make an all new engine now. A tweaked version of the Revotron will be great enough. Even the non altered version is definitely not junk.

NA means Naturally Aspirated and not Non Altered. NA also means it's non-turbocharged. The currently-in-use Revotron engine is turbocharged form of it's older 1.2L Xeta engine with some more hardware & software modifications for better refinement & performance. But it is still based on the older design for the main engine Block. Only the Head was relatively New.

As for the Kite, I too am hoping that rumour of a brand-new All-Aluminium 1.2L petrol engine does come true. It will be lighter & hopefully more refined and efficient with decent performance to match the competition. Still I think the Kite trumpcard will be the 1.05L CR3 Diesel unit, which could set new benchmark in terms of fuel efficiency & come with decent performance too.

because its old school design based engine it deosnt fit for TATA Kite because current modern cars comes with light weight materials i agree Revotron is good engine but still needs to improve to take on maruti,hyundai

I think they will not use NA engine in Kite.

Maybe the same 1.2T revotron or the new three cylinder all aluminum engine would be introduced in Kite.

Infact TATA has hinted that BOLT might be revamped. There is expected to be a refreshed exterior which will shed all the possible resemblance of the now discontinued VISTA. Then TATA should plan to launch the BOLT with a Multi-drive version of the Aluminium 1.2L 3 cly engine develop around 90PS. This engine should help shed around 50-60 kgs and make the BOLT lighter and swifter.

If tata will continue to usa same engine from bolt revotron 1.2T it doesn't make good scene in entry level hatchback segment most of the buyers would be first time and then need light free revving engines and reliable car car but turbocharger engines are not meant for free revving

What I think is that bolt will come with high tune of existing 1.2T revotron engine. Maybe 120 bhp bolt sport concept tune.

Yes, tata are going to showcase the Kite on Dec 3 and 4. what they call it a world premier. Probably the launch will happen immidiately and bookings too may open.
Since its the end of 2015., I hope they might make delivery by Feb after AUTO EXPO 2016. May be or may be not. [:D]
