@Mukesh I paid almost 16.2k for idv of 4.71 for zero dep insurance. How did you pay only 10.8k
? Possibly you have voluntary deduction? Are these nationalised cos good like RS? If yes then I would use those nationalised ones while renewing my insurance. I always believed nationalised insurance companies aren't that good during vlaims.
Hey Abhishek,
I got a good quote as I have other insurance with them.
Infact, since the car was new the IDV they provided for the first year was the actual ex-showroom value, i.e 4,89,019/- in reality it should have been 5% less. As soon as the car rolls out from the showroom.
Compulsory excess for Nil Dep says, min of 500 and maximum of 2500/-
The same is retained for the 2nd year as well.
I got an IDV for XZ as 4,12,000/- for the second year.
Abhisek, I switched from RS to National during renewal (bought from TASC). Apparently, insurance brokerage margins between Tata sales and service offices are quite different. I paid 11K for second year renewal with zero dep and IDV of 4L.
Prabhagar, i see a difference in IDV. Mine is covered for 4,12,000/- for the second year.
Thanks a lot Prabhagar that was helpful. But are these Nationalised companies like National and United India as good as RS/other private ones during claim settlement? I always doubt Govt. stuffs.
Its a myth.
The nationalised one's do not reject the claim, based on my experiences with them.
May be you might see some delay with the surveyor visit. But the claim process are time bound and smooth.
Moreover, team from Kolkata office monitor the claim process and ask for the feedback.
