Bro as per Team BHP Vin decoding link seems the car is September Manufactured.
https://www.team-bhp.com/advice/find-your-cars-date-manufacture-vin

10th character is Year so G = 2016
12th character is month so J = Sep

So his car is Sept manufactured
Thanx bro for the clarification .Actually i bought the car in oct 28th .i heared that the car made after june are free from gear stick vibration .But in my tata tiago xt petrol ,i felt some amount of vibration when the engine is on idle .so i thought whether the car is made recently or it is manufacutred before june .However i have a small doubt ,does the ECU of tiago prevent stalling in lower speed .
Thanks in advance .

For vibrations, I don't know because I own a Diesel Tiago which has no vibrations.

Yes ECU does help engine from stalling. You may see that rpm needle going up even without any gas inputs. For for information you can go through Prabhagar Bro's wonderful and detailed review of his Orange Tiago.

Oops, I just replied to this in the other thread you had asked. Reposting here as well:

Nope, the real time FE becomes fuel level indicator in all variants sans XZ. Also XT doesn't have a temperature gauge as shown in reference picture below:

Showroom guy told me now its standardised so even xt model has. Xt was not there but he sent a pic from other branch showing inst fe. May be new xt owners like rev_fun can confirm. One more difference is door handles are chrome in xz but black in others. Makes the cabin look much better. So I am going with xz only because:
-Abs feels better than all hydraulic brake cars i have driven especially while turning and high speeds
-Xz interior cabin looks much premium
-Waiting period my dealer says for (o) models is 2-3 weeks more. Plus I lose 1week I waited. Chances are Tata would increase price in january. If it happens between the delivery dates of the two cars, then would negate the price difference and I would feel like a fool
-cost of individually fitting anything mssing if possible is huge. Foglamps only 13.5k. Abs may be around 25k I guess
-other features like tweeters, defogger, wiper etc.

Guys we are replying in different different tiago threads. I think we should create only 2 standard threads. One for all general Tiago stuffs. Other for discussing all issues doubts and concerns.

I think the Sales guy is wrong. I had seen XT version recently in Showroom & it didn't have the Instant FE or the Temperature Gauge. Also the Instrument Binnacle was finished in Black rather then Silver like on XZ.

I guess the one he has shown you might be the Optional Variant. I have seen a XE (o) having same Instrument Cluster as XZ. So may be Optional Variants have same one as XZ.

Nishant5858 is right. The XT version has no instant FE . It is replaced by the fuel indicator . However we can see the average FE for a trip by pressing the mode key .The showroom guyz might have shown you a different model or might be XT(O) model .
Thanks Gautam J bro , anyway can you just paste the URL here so that i can go through .
The reason being i am worried coz while PDI i asked them to update the ECU and to minimise the gear vibration but they told me the september make car are free from these niggles and tata is taking care all of these niggles in the production . Can they fix them in the first service ?

Car Arriving at Stockyard!

Hi Guys,

SE called me today that my car (XZ (P)) is about to come to stockyard today or tomorrow. I asked how in 3 weeks then she said Brown color is supplied more and she gave me preference since I requested. I have booked from KHT Motors, Brookefield, Bangalore.

I have few questions as this is the first time I would buy car as for my home car all the formalities were done by my brother.
1) VIN no. is same as chasis no? It appears on driver side dashboard and also engraved on the body when you open the driver door?
2) For PDI, I have downloaded the teambhp checklist.
3) After Documentation, she would invoice so I would pay the full car cost. I am going on full cash. I am thinking of buying some accessories like Leather seats, mats, mud flaps, door visors. Initially they said 5% discount but I request 10% and they said they would consider. So shall I buy from showroom or from outside/online can you please elaborate on each of the accessories. The Leather seat cover from Tata looks very good and would be of snug fit. And will invoice price include the accessories I opt for.
4) After invoicing, she told it would take 4 days for Registration.
5) What all documentation I should take care of and how to exactly know I am not going to be taken for a ride by the dealer. [thinking]
6) Things I missed? [confused]

Hello abisekverma, congrats for new car. I too have booked Tiago XZ Petrol Espresso Brown 7weeks ago in Hosur. But the dealer says that Espresso Brown was not alloted to them when i enquired with them 2 days ago. I was given the option to choose Silver instead but i insisted for Espresso Brown. So my wait continues..... Congratulations once again.... do post some pics of ypur car.
