I heard from one of the sales men that the reason for Bolt failure is because of the low price difference against Zest. Prospective Bolt buyers shifted their preference to Zest due to the negligible price difference.
If that is to be believed, price difference would be 70k to 80k minimum between Tiago & Kite 5 with additional features.
@ Goutham a lakh rs difference may affect people mind psychologically as a huge difference, so my gut feel says 15 to 20% less than the one lakh mark. Pls comment if you feel otherwise.

Auto stop start is also expected.
I am confused and frustrated with Tata. When they first introduced Zest, they said for every year till 2020 Tata would launch 2 cars every year. But it has been just 1 car per year since Zest.
Zest - 2014
Bolt - 2015
Tiago - 2015 ( This was planned to be released by 2015)
Kite 5 - 2016
Hexa - 2016
But they messed up Tiago Launch, Hexa was supposed to be launched around July/August and Kite 5 by Diwali. I don't see them launching either of the cars before this year.

Following the TIAGO threads for over past three months. Yesterday I booked a Petrol XM version, which has waiting of about 8 weeks in Noida.
Quick log of booking experience:
It was pretty evident walking in there that SA and everyone at Tata showroom are riding the high horse(s) because of the recent TIAGOFICATION phenomenon.
For TIAGO, SA was so complacent of the incoming inquiries and booking numbers and you would be made to feel of them patiently attending you and after so much hype of TIAGO, how dare you not instantly handover the booking amount and bombard them with questions.
There was a price rise of about 7k across the Petrol models except base, the XE. Effective 1st of August.
Dealer did not bargained on insurance premium which I attempted, and also insisted to take insurance with them only, warning of any delays, claim issues ., that might arise in future.
I booked a petrol XM variants owing to my budget constraints
Price Breakup:
395225 Ex Showroom /Noida
18630 Zero Dep Insurance
6428 Extended warranty
9066 AMC
5000 for basic kit.
There is one thing I surely felt that at SA level there is still TATA needs to up their ante, I don`t know but they somehow don`t sound trustful or provide you a customer first kind of feeling. Fingers Crossed.

Also a quick questions to fellow members. Does anyone has got any idea about revetrons engines compatibility with CNG, this thought consistently pushed me to consider swift over Tiago over quite some time last week. Just in case any fine day, the petrol prices starts to pinch, the maruti`s will be quick to change their diet, i.e., CNG. But not sure of TATA`s success or plans with CNG??

I got a call today from my Dealer (Concorde motors ORR) that my TiaGo XZ (P) with alloys has reached stockyard (booked on 3rd June). I have asked for PDI and lets see how soon he can arrange for the same. Quite excited for my first car as Tiago. Keep you posted about the PDI pics and experience. I have already taken a print of VIN decoding guide and PDI checklist. Is there anything which I should take care while going for PDI? How much time does it take for registration? Is it required to take the car to RTO for registration?
I know so many questions..I think its excitement. :) Please answer, it'll be a good help.

Happy to announce that I have booked Tiago XE 1.0 Revotorq.
There was a poll for color choice.
1. White was ruled out, I hate white & it makes car look dull & bit taxish.
2. Silver was rejected by family for being a common color.
3. Berry Red was rejected because already there is a car of similar color in i20 at our garage.
4. Espresso Brown was also not preferred despite it being a good color, reason was simple. It is very similar to the Honda's Urban Titanium shade & I have Brio of the same color.
5. Sunburst Orange was the most liked by many. It made the car look cheeky & young. Also it is a popular choice of Tiago by public as well as TAI Members![[:)]](https://www.theautomotiveindia.com/forums/images/smilies/Smile.gif "Smile [:)]")

6. Striker Blue was the one which pleased all after I showed them the car in the showroom. Everyone was pleased by the car. I also managed to convince myself that this would be the color.
Hence finalized Striker Blue as the preferred choice.
XE Variant was selected simply because the car will be used in city all the time and there was no need of other features including safety features. All of our cars are driven with 100% AC and hence Power Windows aren't required.
I have been asked to wait till tomorrow to confirm regarding the vehicle. I am guessing I might get the car this week itself. There aren't to many bookings for Diesel, hence I guess I might get one soon.
Now the waiting game begins.

I am hearing a hissing noise from the car , Its start when car is switched on and continue throughout ts running. I have already check with Service center they not able to find the solutions and also I raised issue with the TATA motors.
Is anybody facing this problem ? or any idea how to solve this issue.

Buddy it's just the fuel pump noise. It is present on all cars.
I have an Ertiga and it also has.
