Collinite 845 Wax
One of my buddies recently flew from US to India for his vacation and was able to bring along a bottle of Collinite 845 wax for me. It costed ~$19 from Amazon US website and is imported for us in India by Greenzcarcare.com, bringingbest.in. Collinite products are praised by the detailing industry world wide, and I liked its results on my car as well. Though I did not polish my car before applying this, I expect it to last longer than Meguiar's Hi Tech Yellow Wax which hardly lasted 2 to 3 weeks for me. I had read through
this guide from auto geek online several times and ensured to follow his tips during application.
Dipped in hot water for about 10 minutes and shook the bottle to liquefy contents. Thanks to my TAI detailing mentor CRACING for sending me one of his microfiber applicator pads (the green one below). With it's huge diameter and a nice sleeve to hold, wax application was never so easy for me. It also absorbs leftover water droplets on the panel gaps/joints unlike foam pads which I used earlier.
After buffing. Visually I did not find any difference between Collinite 845 and Meguiar's Hi Tech Yellow Wax in terms of shine. However, 845 seems to have boosted the color a little more than Meg's.
Glossiness is more pronounced under shade:
Some playful kids at a village tore off one side of my black tail wraps so I had to remove the other side as well

So it's now time to wait and watch how the 845 fares in our environmental condtions. I will be more than happy if it lasts for a month's time.
