@mukesh,

Normal diesel please. TATA suggests not to use additives, it may clog the injectors. And those premium diesels are blended ones, not good for the CRDI engines.

Hi all, really amazed to see such genuine comments from this forum ( our forum ) and happy to note that a wealth of information is exchanged.
Mukesh, your beast surely look mean and muscular after fixing of the Maxxis Tyres and alloy wheels just gels in style. I'm also in the pipe line to get this beast shortly. [:)]

Thanks PetroHead, Believe me you will not regret your decision after buying this beast, The only issue with bigger tyre size is during monsoons, since the mud flap is small and tyres are big so entire car gets dirty. Guys can i get some bigger mud flaps? has anyone did this without spoiling the overall look?

@Mukesh: You get Sporty mud flaps and rubber mud flaps which according to the size you can cut and fit but the dis advantage is as days go if it gets stiff due to climate the mud flap will become rigid ad when u steer or go on a less ground clearance are that will get cut. so its better you continue with the OE that’s more than enough as you had done under chassis protection

The reason for using additives or the higher fuel variant is to make fast combustion and it’s not required in TML engine as they are already made for performance, only IDI or lazy DI engines require additives to make combustion process soon. TML already has Very high pressure Injector which sprays in very high pressure and this pressure is set for normal pressure at that time if we induce the Fuel with additive it way block is one chance the main effect is it may burn the valve of the engine which in-turn will affect the Head of the engine so people who own TML DI engines don't use these stuffs they are like putting our pocket money and keeping black magic to our self

Guys, enquired about 3D mats for my Storme, someone gave me a number of an accessories shop in Karol bagh. The person from accessories shop quoted Rs 5800 for 3D mats for my beast, when i enquired about the company he said "ROCKSTAR". Never heard about ROCKSTAR brand. What do you think?
Thinking of going to Kashmere gate motor market, have heard a lot about this matket.

@Mukesh: Please don't waste money for 3d mats. If it was 20%-30% more than normal than that could have been in choice card but at 5 times more cost its waste. Do an Full vinyl matting with an liner don't go to accessories shop those people don't stich but cut the mat and use quick fix and temporarily they make it ready.the vinyl mat for complete car STORME will be 1000-1500 there are three quality the one which is more flexible and rubber like is durable and costly too that will do fine and get black normal PVC mat for 750 for two rows this will be more than enough.

This is my opinion

Hey Guys,
I have one question: When driving the Car for a long time the fan from the engine starts (i think it cools the temperature of engine), now what is happening in my storme is while i am driving the fan starts (which is normal i think) and it keeps on running for around 30-45 seconds even after i switch off the engine and remove the key. Is that fine or an issue?

The fan stops automatically after few seconds but in my previous cars (Wagon R & SX4) if if the fan was running, it used to stop as soon as i switch off the engine.

In my spark after I off the car , it still takes some more time for the fan to stop completely.
