For some businessmen growth is everything, while for some their home-their nation worth a lot...here is an example of patriotism set by Hon'able Mr.Ratan Tata.

Tata Group rejects Pakistan governments multicrore offer to buy Tata Sumo Grande.
Tata Group head Ratan Tata rejected this offer saying "There will be no business with a country indulge in launching terror operations against India."
A grand salute to Ratan Tata for this patriotic gesture.
Unfortunately we have very few successful people like him remaining in India who give such importance to Nationalism and National dignity over monetary gain.

Remember 26/11.Tata suffered most.Very good decision by Mr. TATA.Hope Indian Gov. will take cues and stop any further negotiations with them until they stop propitiating terrorism against India.

Re: The Story of Tata's Epic Journey from Trucks to Aria

Just re-read the features of Prima as provided by Vipul in detail.Found some really interesting things this time around. For e.g.,:

Integrated clutch and brake pedal system — provides better packaging, utilisation of space and control of ergonomics, with modularity in design.

Does it mean that a single pedal does the work of both clutch and brake? If yes that its surely very nifty on behalf of the Tatas.

Also found out that Prima has ABS as standard and differential lock.

PS: Vipul words can not describe your efforts to this thread. Also you have raised your game from being a photo-paster to become co-writer of this thread. My heartily congratulation to you.Reading in detail about all the features of Prima really makes my chest little larger filled with pride of being an Indian, seeing such technology being developed and launched by an Indian automobile major.Awesome.

@ autosafari

Your post was also concise but very meaningfull as always.Really glad to find friends like you here in TAI.

Naa,its an assembly, pedals are two but assembly is one as much I remember.
BTW,I found the engine braking system even more interesting.

Also found out that Prima has ABS as standard and differential lock.
Trucks very badly need both of them,ABS can give then better control and Differential lock can give them better driveability and even more ability.

Chest became larger!!!Oh,now I understood:biggrin:
The is a dialogue in movie Bol-Bacchan he also says the same thing(My chest became wider) this way "My chest has become blouse".Look here:-

+1. This is what comes by blood in Parsis -Strong devotion to country. [clap]
And on other hand, there is Reliance and I know that they have so strong connections that even in case of India-Pak war, Pakis will not bomb their Jamnagar refinery. [evil]

@ Vipul,

Thanks for the updates buddy. I feel Prima interiors better looking than Safari & even XUV !! :D
BTW, have you played the game 18 Wheels of Steel ? Nice game collection, I spend hours on it.

Re: The Story of Tata's Epic Journey from Trucks to Aria

Tata Motors has suspended production for the second time in as many months at Pimpri. The four day closure of the plant begins today and will go on till the 4th of August, 2012. The cut in production will allow Tata Motors to clear piled up inventory as dealers struggle to sell cars. While the general slowdown in the economy has been largely responsible for a sales slowdown across car makers in India, Tata Motors has been more affected than the rest despite having a number of diesel engined models. Even so, the Indian car and utility vehicle major has been unable to take advantage of the shift in demand from petrol to diesel cars.
