TASS experience in absence of its GM.
@anshuman8 , finally I decided to change the TASS .In Pune too there is a Tata owned ASS called Concorde Motors, Baner which was suggested to me by fellow TAI n sanjaysg in the past .But since it was not convineantly located and was far away from my home( approx.50km) , I avoided it.
But now , I had no option but to try it, because I wasn't willing to hand over the car to my routine NAW TASS for sensitive clutch issue.
I called up Concorde Pune at 12:30 pm today , but reached there at approx.2:30 , it was lunch time for them but one Mr. Gaikwad came to me even before I enter the reception .
He checked the clutch and said that it needs to be replaced .I asked the reason , he said, it is due to bumper to bumper traffic in cities like Pune makes you to ride on clutch .I agreed with him as my city running has increased a lot since last 3 months.
About the rattles , he said , it will take time and car delivery would be on next day probably. but he will try his level best to deliver the car today itself taking in to consideration the distance and inconvenience I would otherwise face .Then he handed over the car to concerned SA (Amit)
And I left for my work .
To my surprise , I received a call from the SA that the car is ready for delivery and all work is over at 6 pm.
I reached there at 7:30 pm , Mr. Gaikwad and Amit were present there even though Closing time was 6 pm.
We took TD , confirmed that all was done well including the clutch and rattle issue.
Total bill was Rs 7200 , and washing and vaccuming , and rattle/plastic fitment was free.
Overall 100 times better experience as compared to NAW TASS. It was fully professional and corporate.
Mr. Gaikwad told me that the GM is on leave and himself is spare parts manager and is at the helm of affairs till the GM returns.
On feedback form gave them 10/10 .
I was surprised to here this.
