Anybody know why TML don't want to add up Black color option for HEXA???

HEXA got good looks for front side & in Black color it will look like SWAT Police vehicle (Chevy one). Sorry if anybody already raised this question & I am asking it again. [:)]

Don't know why but it's now becoming a trend with many manufacturers selling dark grey instead of full black, sighting color maintenance issues and that particular color not seeing much of sales is what I think of.

Flashback: In 1955 3 @tatamotors trucks travelled 7000 miles in the Geneva-Bombay rally without a breakdown featured in my book: @adiljal

60 years later, #TataHexa traveled 16,000 miles from Coimbatore to London:

With their travel essentials loaded up into the Tata Hexa, Meenakshi Arvind, Mookambika Rathinam and Priya Rajpal set out from Coimbatore to London, across 24 countries in roughly 70 days. The idea behind the expedition was to celebrate 70 years of Indian independence and to create a positive image of Indian women.
“Although Volvo offered me their XC90 and ISUZU as well, I’m very happy to have taken the Hexa”.
On this trip, it was imperative to pick the right vehicle for the 70-day long journey. The trio went through all the options and finally, the Tata Hexa was established as the ideal choice for the strenuous voyage. The Hexa’s four ‘Super Drive Modes’ – Auto, Comfort, Dynamic and Rough Road – helped them triumph over unfamiliar terrain and punishing weather conditions to drive through countries like Myanmar, Thailand, China, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Belarus, and Poland, just to name a few. The awesome ride was customized specially for this legendary trip with accessories like a roof platform, a canopy, luggage bags, high lift jack, shovel, jerry can, a navigation unit and a wireless charger.
However, a trip like that is bound to have more than its fair share of adventures. For instance, while exiting China, one wrong turn sent the trio 1,000 km in the wrong direction, 13,000 ft above sea level and into a raging blizzard! Luckily, the Tata Hexa hardly struggled, even in the sub zero temperatures and steep inclines. Says Meenakshi Aravind, "We had a lot of mountainous terrain and high altitude driving till we reached Kazakhstan and the hill descent control of the Hexa really helped. I could feel it kick in when I was driving downhill."
Now that the way has been paved, a cross-continent road trip is bound to be on every road lover’s bucket list, including Meenakshi. "I am looking at a world trip and this being the first leg of that trip. There have been many offers already from many car companies, but I would definitely like to work with Tata Motors again," says the traveller.

There is a talk that TATA might launch the XZ variant of the Hexa with Start-Stop ingition, Sunroof, Leather seats and a bigger 7.0 inches touch screen. Maybe that move might have been further helped by GST price correction. We still need to see what TATA has in store. Maybe we can see an XZA 4X4 variant.
I think this huge vehicle requires these features. When I drove this beast, I was surprised that they did not provide a reverse camera and instead provided sensors. Ridiculous ! With all excellent features in the car TAMO somehow manages to goof things up with the ordinary. I sometimes wonder why they do not get rid of the joker in their designing team :)

Our Hexa review is in the T.I.P. now and shall go live anytime, for the meanwhile here are a couple of videos which you guys can watch and enjoy:

The suspension of Hexa is indeed the Trump card:

Look at the aggressive gearshifts Hexa AT makes in race car map. It's the most fun aspect of Hexa AT

Braking performance is also impressive with decent paddle feel, it's just that when you are past 100 kph, you can feel that bulk oromentum while braking hard

So far whatever I'm reading about Hexa is very impressive. I'm very very inclined to buy Hexa one day. However, I do have some questions.
1. How is the performance of AT Hexa? I read about it being really comfortable and good power car. However has any one taken HEXA AT to Himachal? locations like Spiti, Ladakh? I'm curious to hear the experience of Hexa AT on these roads. Where Innova dominates.
2. While digging more information, I also came across rumour that Hexa soon to get a better Touch music system like Nexon.

1. I don't feel I am qualified enough to answer this question, TAIger TSIVipul will be best person to answer it.

2. According to bhpian RavenAvi XZ variant is expected. Also after Nexon unveil, Hexa feels short on features. BTW I hope they atleast add ESP in AT variants.

TATA MOTORS said:
In August 2017, Tata Motors passenger vehicles, in the domestic market, recorded sales at 14,340 nos., grew by 10%, over August 2016, bolstered by the strong demand for the Tata Tiago and the Tata Tigor. The car segment remained flat at 11,462 nos., and the UV segment grew by 84% at 2,878 nos., driven by the Tata HEXA.
If you analyse the sales of UVs, HEXA seems to have had a bumper dispatch. 84% surge in sales of UVs should not have much translated for Safari or SUMO but mostly HEXA. So keeping aside 500 each for Safari and SUMO, we are left with 1878 pieces of HEXA. So expect around 2k dispatches for HEXA.

Good numbers.
