OTR prices from KHT TATA Bangalore(Sorry, didnt ask for breakup of costs over phone).

XE - Rs.16.3L
XM - Rs.17.60L
XT - Rs.19L
XZ - Rs.20.7L

Suddenly i feel XM and XT are really good alternate to Creta's variants (a.k.a i20 on stilts).

Now most of the people find that its bang on price my personal opinion differs
If i was not a potential buyer i would have thought that the pricing is correct as an auto enthusiast and Indian heart
But when i,ve to spend 20 L from my pocket the brain takes over my heart
Now its proven that harrier is competing with xuv500 and creta 1.6 and geep is kept aside ,lets consider the factor which make them successful
1. xuv 500 - when launched its looks were considered stunning , same for harrier . It offered a lot of segment first features, here harrier takes a backseat as although its loaded with features but not the segment first sort ( average buyers perspective ) . Xuv 500 was considered damn cheap for the offering , while harrier is just ok . Lastly their was no alternative to compete with at the time of xuv launch ,harrier misses this advantage .
2. Creta - When launched it looked handsome and still a good looking vehicle , same for harrier , loaded with features , same for harrier . It was considered overpriced at the time of lsecndlaunch ,same as harrier but it did well for two reason ,actually its sx 1.6 was priced at 11.8 L ex showroom at the time of launch which was 70000 less then its competitor Duster 110 rxz ( anyone can check ) with almost the same kit on offer with better interiors, better engine etc , secondly since 2015 no real threat/ launch occurred for almost 3.5 years ( capture is not worth mentioning )
3. 2019 is the most tough year for any SUV in my opinion as we have seen two launches already ,kicks and harrier and 4 more are confirmed as XUV 300 in feb with lots of gizmos , KIA SP CONCEPT with stunning design element , HYUNDAI CAROLINE with face same as harrier and hyundai backing , M G HECTOR with similar face , size and nice interior and smashing price point
then in 2020 both the current competitor xuv 500 and creta will have the face lift , so what i guess is good discounts will come around the year end ( also considering euro 6 factor ) as this is also the first time in last decade that vehicle industry is showing de growth and sentiments of buyers are not bullish

Yesterday i visited KHT motors bangalore. Harrier is looking damn good in person. quality levels are improved a lot. They just placed this one beside storme. I felt tata motors should concentrate on strome also. As the appearance is good for strome when compared to harrier, only thing some essential features are missing in strome like (auto gear box, cruise). Its just my personal opinion.

More details appear:
Tata Harrier Interior Leaked in a New Set of Photos

More Analysis
The DTE in the images shows 675km to empty, for a tank full and 425km to empty for 60% tank from the images from the web.
So now, Assuming we have Total tankful range of 675km, and if the tank is 45 Litres we are getting average for around 15kmpl
Previously in my posts, we had seen DTE of 1572km for 90% full tank and assuming a 70 litre tank gave numbers close to 25kmpl. So are there images from Petrol and Diesel vehicles? Not sure. Just assumptions galore.

Also did you notice, the blue band seem to decrease with lowering of the fuel level, some ingenuity?
Official Fuel Efficiency : 16.7 KMPL

Price for base is slightly more than what it was expected before launch. Creta 1.6 base customer will surely take test ride of Harrier before finalizing. Creta is extremely refined engine and pickup that rivals XUV 500 (as per report on TBHP). Greedy Hundai has overpriced Creta.

Tata Storme must survive. It is handsome butch SUV. Those who dream after purchasing Harrier, they can do whatever they want, think twice. Rear wheel drive has certain advantages. Read following travelog, how accomplished SUV Duster failed in Sikkim on one of the terrain (front wheel spinning) whereas rear wheel drive Sumo and other vehicles crossed that patch easily.

https://www.team-bhp.com/forum/travelogues/147159-dusted-zero-point-north-sikkim-15748-ft.html

So now I'm fully convinced that SUV must have.
1. Higher ground clearance
2. Rear wheel drive
3. 4x4 capability (optional)
