I think they will have to price XE which is barebones without any ICE but does have 2 Airbags, ABS, around 10L on road. That being said, it will give immense opportunity for people for get aftermarket ICE will all Jazz.
Few things I felt should have been a standard offering were , rear defogger, remote central lock, Child sear anchor points.
Even if its ex showroom price ( 10 L ) for xe it will take market by storm

My guess is , for sale of 3-5 thousand /month

1. XE - 10.99 L 2. XM - 11.99 L 3. XT - 13.25 L 4. XZ - 15.5 L

For sales of 1.5-3 thousand /month

1. XE - 11.9 L 2. XM - 12.99 L 3. XT - 14.25 L 4. XZ - 16.25 L

For sale of 1000/month

1. XE - 12.99 L 2 XM - 13.99 L 3. XT - 15.5 L 4. XZ - 18 L

Anything below than first line (starting price XE below 10.99 L ) it will have a waiting period of 1 year , for first line of prices waiting period will be for 6 months ,pricing in 2 line range will make it readily available , pricing of 3 line will give dealers some hard times ,and any thing above that it is DOA

Any ways BEST OF LUCK TO TATA and HARRIER
11Lacks is is for base variant that wont be possible boy its meant for premium category from bases LR D8 but still TATA master in cost saving methodes I can Safely Expect price may vary between 14 to 15lacks for base trim go upto 21lacks for topend

Launched at 12.69L onwards

XE - 12.69L
XM - 13.75L
XT - 14.95L
XZ - 16.25L

Spot on pricing I must say, especially the XZ variant. With most of the features being assigned to the XZ variant,it seems absolute VFM. Lets see how the market reacts.

After months of teasing and previewing what is possibly the most eagerly awaited new car in a while, Tata Motors has finally launched the Harrier SUV today, at a starting price of Rs 12.69 lakh. The five-seat SUV is available in four variants – following the base Harrier XE are the mid-spec XM (Rs 13.75 lakh), XT (Rs 14.95 lakh) and the range-topping XZ (Rs 16.25 lakh).

As for me only XZ makes sense, and with 16.25 L ex showroom, it may be close to around 19L on road. This is great price I would say, for a fully loaded indianised Land Rover. Better that this is they still have kept some space for the AT and hopefully one with Sunroof, on the lines of XZ+ variant nomenclature

Now with this great pricing what do you think of Jeep pricing? Does this sound the Death bell for Compass?
