Re: TAI Member Pet's Help and Discussions!

I love Labradors especially when they are small, but they are lazy by nature isn't it?
My parents won't leave me to have these dogs, whenever i ask them they tell that for what purpose am i here [sleep]

Re: TAI Member Pet's Help and Discussions!

Does anyone has information about a professional and reliable vet hospital around Delhi NCR? Need quick help. Thanks.
Oh, That's very sad to hear. How old is she now?
Oh. That's sad to hear buddy. How old is she and does that happen during the summers only?
There was a tumor but it's operated. She is now fit and fine. I can, without a doubt, recommend this hospital to someone who's seeking professional healthcare for their pet.

If thats how they feel I guess all you can do is poop on the doorstep , then they will know the diff between a son and a dog.[;)]

My pet

I had been thinking for quite some time, Why not start a thread where we can share photos and other things of our pet/s. All of us would agree that pets become an integral part of our life. Few months back, I thought of having a pet. One of the prime reason being a phone stalker troubling my wife, while I was away on sailing. Though the problem was tackled well, I thought of having a dog in our family. My wife insisted on a toy breed, I wanted to have a big dog. Finally we shortlisted Labrador and German Shepherd. We contacted few breeders and finalised on 3 of them. So one fine evening, I went to see them and bring home one. So I started off from my home and had a plan to see all of them. two of them were towards Indiranagar and one near Banaswadi (near my home). I was first driving towards Indira nagar. But that fine morning it started raining heavily, and traffic forced me to take a U turn and go towards Banaswadi first. He had just one German Shepherd pup available. And she was adorable. He asked me to wait for 2 more to arrive. But I had made my decision. I took home the cute little one. We (my son my new pet and me) drove back home. My wife was excited to see the cute little puppy. She had already chosen a name for her. Sara. We all agreed to the name. Now. the real story starts from here. I never knew raising a pup would be even more difficult than raising a human baby.[surprise]
For the first few weeks, we wont be able to sleep during night, because Ms Sara likes to play during night. Believe me, a pup needs much more care than a human baby.
These fotos were taken within few weeks of her joining us.

Re: My pet

Almost every night was sleepless in first few weeks, especially for my wife, as I needed to join a ship after about a month Sara became family member. I saw her grow on Skype. I regularly had a chat with my wife on Skype, sometimes, video chat. And I could see Sara getting excited hearing my voice, and then licking the laptop screen. In three months she has grown a lot. More than being ferocious, she is adorable. When I came back home, I was greeted by a jump on me, with hugs and licks. And I was surprised to see her so big. Few more photographs.

nozzlering, i think you should enter that dog in some shows ,it has an excellent coat. The colour resembles some of the champion breeds(must say it looks diff when it was a puppy). And the coat does not seem too fluffy(like original) either in comparison to the others we see.

Thanks Prads.
Yes she has excellent coat. But she is not KCI registered. I think she needs to be registered to be able to participate in shows.

Re: TAI Member Pet's Help and Discussions!

Does anyone have a knowledge about aquariums, i want to add some fishes and my tank's current set up is:
Lenght: 4 feet, 6 inches.
Height: 2 feet.
Breadth: 1 feet 3 inches.

2 silver dollar fish.
4 silver sharks.
6 milky white corp.
2 black angels.
2 sucker cat.

Except sucker cats all are around 2 to 3 inches long.

Accessories:
2 No. 100 watt heaters. ( added one recently as it is cold here in Shimla and one heater was not sufficient to maintain the temperature of the tank)
1 temperature gauge.
1 Water Filter.
1 white tube light 3 feet long in size.
1 bubble tube which is attached to a pump.

Need your help guys. [confused]

Recently am not getting time to spend for that Himalayan.

Actually I was crazy about this in my school days (say early part of 80s). I had a huge Cement tank (actually meant for something else, but I used it for this purpose) in my house back yard and I had around 100 to 200 fishes (most of them where black moly/white moly/cuppies/gold fishes/platties/black moore). I am sorry if i spell it wrongly. Once the entire collection was stolen by somebody (you can understand the back yard which does not had any safety those days) . After that I have stopped this hobby.

And after very long time some 4 years back I started and having good collection (even though the collection is less). Just because of time I stopped it.

And you too have good setup.
