OT: Putting Baleno aside for a moment, I have got tears in my eyes by just looking at the 'super happy meet' of Akash and FD. Now they are here together, maybe this thread will also turn into jokes and humor thread a couple of posts later.

BTW I would love to listen to your TD experience of you as an Xcent owner checking the Baleno. When to expect that?
Soon!! Been bit busy due to festive purchases and other works. And to be frank, I didn't liked that design. I had some eagerness to see Kwid and TD! But Baleno, I was like [sleep]... But as an love-to-drive guy, I will sure TD it.

Superb review Akash as always.
The only problems that I see is the back seats could have been bit lengthier for better thigh support and second they should not have used parts from Swift(Specially the head light).
Cheers
I agree sharing parts bin let them price it competitively, but sharing same steering for celerio and premium hatch is not acceptable. If only, they can design an better premium looking wheel and switches, knobs, it will be a true premium hatch IMO! Else, it will be glorified hatch sold by maruthi at premium price!

Check post #5 in the above mentioned review from @nkonamme.

Dealer said they won't upgrade it to projectors and suggested to me do outside.I did not get accessories, even mats and mud flap.He told they will give during first service.Rear seats are not bad, there is humongous space.Little more under thigh support and more recline would have been awesome. Can we change rear seat bench??

Hi,

If you want alloys, get them at the showroom itself. I saw the options on display & theu seem nice. Though i didnt get into details

I ead in Pune to see the base Sigma. Will upload pics later. To be very frank, i think the base is quite adequate in terms of interiors. Yes, missing the faux chrome trims but uou can customise the car the way you want by adding top notch HU and speakers, seat covers and alloys. The instrument cluster lacks a tach but how many of us use it? I personally use the engine note to change gear. Also, the instrument cluster shows adequate data

On the outside, though the front grille & rear hatch are sans chrome, they dont look too bad. Remember, the delta model doesnt come with the hatch chrome bar either

Did a TD also. The TD cars i had in mumbai were in sad shape and i always felt a lack of power. But the TD car in pune was really nice & pickup wad more than adequate. Also sat in the back seat with my dad and slightly plump mom (i too am on healthy side) while my buddy was driving and we were quite comfortable. In fact, some customers flagged us down to ask if we were comfortable given the fitting
