@kshyapz8055 _ please PM the link to me too if its not too much of a burden.
Im really confused between the Ford figo Trend variant (diesel) and baleno sigma variant (diesel) as both fall pretty much under same price bracket.
And now the interiors make all the difference.
Would really likento see sigma interiors please.

Thanks Akash for this in-depth review, with this launch at least NEXA will have more footfalls, unlike the disaster S-Cross pricing.

Any front on pics of the sigma?

Also anyone snapped the fixed headrests?

Anyone living in pune, please goto the Shivaji Nagar Nexa next to Sancheiti hospital & capture the Sigma base variant, inside & outside and post for everyone's benefit please. Also, lets us know if the fixed headrests make the back seats uncomfortable

Today I visited nexa akshardham. Only top variants were to inspect. Car's amazing.

Clutch is awesome in diesel. It's super smooth and light. Thought for trying the petrol. A petrol alpha was getting ready for delivery, tried it, was surprised. It had a hard clutch than the diesel one. But I figured that it had some play or it required some adjustment.

About build quality.
Build quality is good. Nothing to doubt about. Don't know why people are assuming for lighter body or build quality. Weight reduction is done through several manners. Exhaust system and. Other parts, type of metal used, etc etc.

Interiors are also good. Everyone has their different USP's . the interiors are of great quality. Maruti has left no stone unturned for presenting or as a premium.
The only thing I didn't like was the height increasing lever which is oddly designed. A long handled lever seemed like it would break on operating harshly.

Ground clearance is awesome. This is where Maruti beats everyone. Whatever be the car be whatever be the segment. No one can match its ground clearance.

ICE is good. Lights are good.

In short... Ache acho ko hila dala baleno ne.

Attachig a PIC of HERTZ woofer system which was installed in the display model. It looked sexy. Small, less space consuming and would be apt for the purpose of a decent punch.

And aakash ji, prices were not increased. It was still the same 4.99 for sigma petrol. And when I confirmed the manager. He said till November end prices are going to be same.

Can't upload the PIC coz its exceeding the size limit.

Thanks & regards

@vaibhi,

I spent couple of hours at the Nexa on Saturday while I waited for the car to be available for TD. We were sitting just behind the car. I noticed that as people got in and out, the back just sunk down. Ground clearence may be high without load but the suspension is really soft and the car sinks when occupied

Regarding the weight, it is mostly achieved by making lightening holes in the non structural B surface panels and by replacing metals with plastics. Its not bad, just may cause other longevity issues

Ameyam ji.

Evenn after loading the suspension is great. Compare it with Hyundai suspension.

Maruti also states that the 170mm GC is at unlaiden weight.

Friends,

Adding a few more pics and observation with regards to Baleno (Alpha) that was there for some service work at my uncle's dealership today. Spent a good time with the car till my Esteem received its running repairs.

* Non Alloy Spare wheel of MRF, all other 4 alloys had Apollo Alnac Tyre.

* The rear windshield washer is tough to locate. It is not integrated in the stop lamp unit rather its pretty much inside the i.e in between the spoiler and roof line.

* Rear visibility is pretty good.

* Ray Blue catches stains pretty easily. It didn't look too attractive to me in real (in daylight)

* Boot loading lip appeared to be slightly higher than normal level.

* Footwell light and Glove box light.

* The door opening and closing made me understand practically that the door quality is not really questionable. It is decent enough. (will upload video)

* The projectors are good but their effect at night to on-coming traffic may cause some issues due to high brightness. Even the drl's brightness is pretty high in my view.

* I tried to click my selfie with Baleno, got the shock of my life after seeing my own face![lol][lol]I from today denounce the selfie culture.

* No Engine guard

* The firewall insulation looked good.

* Good amount of wheel well cladding in Baleno has been provided.

Today walked through one of the Nexa showroom. Many did not like the side profile of Baleno but personally I loved it. It has a watery flow along the shoulders without any shoulder lines. The paint quality is top notch. Still i20 elite looks are undoubtedly the best but Baleno I feel is better looking than Jazz as well as better built. Let downs are the removal of Projector units from other trims, boring alloys and the grill. At least the CVT could have the option for the top end goodies. Also, the car looks better in actual compared to that of pics.
