Carpet lamination is highly benefcial.
Rubbish- Nothing will rust ,if the carpet lamination done is perfect as it is a plastic material thereby water won't seep up.You can put floor mats to avoid the water itself touching the carpet layer.
The fabric material ,that comes as stock in the car is prone to absorb moisture thereby fouling the car.

Also silencer coating is not necessary,as when underbody is done a part of the same is done to silencer also.

In my dealership,3M runs the facility of paint sealent (Teflon) and Underbody.

The package price is 5k- with 2 additonal underbody coats and 3 free teflon coats at 6 months interval.

:offtopic: BTW can anyone explain me how banks manage to give so much offers to CC users but we debit card users aren't given any offer despite of the fact that we aren't taking any loan from them?

BTW for the people who don't believe in having credit cards, will this charge be waived off?
:offtopic: I completely agree with you, even I have wondered how could bank give this much offers. I personally own an American Express Credit Card worth 6k, and couple of other HDFC, SBI, ICICI premium cards in same price range. They are giving , tons of reward points, atleast 20k worth air ticket, FREE LOUNGE ACCESS in airports ( I can have unlimited free food from premium lounges for JUST RS 2 !!!! ] , other goodies like TAJ Hotel coupon, free golf access, personal concierge services etc !!

And none of the premium debit cards provide this !!!

Sorry of :offtopic: posts btw, couldnt resist saying this.

Can you please detail me few benefits of the carpet lamination? Is it same as 3D matting? If not, what is the difference between these two? If we go with this and done perfectly, then why floor mats again?

I booked zeta petrol and approximate delivery date is around march last. I wonder if we can upgrade to Projector Head Lamps of Alpha variant ??? Surely nexa guys can get Projector headlamp spare part, and I guess warranty will not affected also since it is not an aftermarket part. Did any of you enquire about this ?? when i asked, they told they would "look in to that".

Carpet lamination is a layer of PU foam leather that is put around the carpet. This encloses the carpet & prevents it from soiling

3d mats are bowl like mats that go on top of your carpet. They are of the shape of your foot board so form a cup in your footboard and catch any dirt. So you can simply pick up the mat and empty outside the car. Its not 100% protection though.

I have booked baleno delta petrol on 4 nov and taking delivery around 20 dec.
I am worried about build quality of baleno specially doors. Existing baleno owners please update about it. In team-bhp forum owners of baleno are complaining of dents in their car.Is it worst than swift or at par?

Buddy I have personally checked up the built quality of Baleno while doing a PDI recently. Certainly it is lighter than Swift by 100 odd kgs but in no way it is paper thin either. As of the dents in the car, this could be due to the mishandling probably at the dealer's end otherwise, I too saw Balenos at stockyard and saw them rather closely I did not even saw a small chipped paint, forget about dent.[:)]

As informed in another post, I have booked Delta Diesel in Bangalore.

During my visit to showroom, I found lot of small dents on driver's door (on the bulge below door handles). I thought its due to showroom vehicle being handled by hundreds of people daily. I found similar issue being discussed in team bhp official review page.
confused now whether to take Baleno or not .. we are paying premium money and doors getting dents with small touch is not acceptable [anger]

Hi,
Yesterday I went to Sai Service Nexa at Baner, Pune one of the three Nexa Dealers in Pune, Experience was real bad, forget premium, it was worse, normal Maruti Showrooms offers better service.

There was no space to park my car, I told security guard that I wanted to valuate my car for exchange, still he asked me to park my car outside, on the road, and there was no space at least 400 meters.

In the showroom I called Salesperson to informed that I had reached, she didn't pick my call. There was no Baleno for display in the showroom, no one even asked us why we were there for 15-20 minutes, there was NO brochure available. I myself picked cost sheet from reception desk and returned.

Way to go Nexa.

My first post here on T.A.I. Excited. [:)]

Same experience at Nexa, Baner Pune.
No one was there to attend the customers. There was no display car in the showroom.
When I asked one of the representatives there, he said that they have removed the display car as there is so much rush and hence the display Baleno has been removed. That is their way to keep off potential customers (I mean WOW).
One more annoying thing: I somehow managed to get hold of one RM, he agreed for a test drive. After test drive there was brief session on features of each variant.
When asked him about any offers: with his witty smile he said: "YES, there is an offer; 3.5 months waiting for diesel and 5 months for petrol". That was offensive enough for me to walk away. They are not allowing outside insurance, Nexa card and essential accessories are compulsory.

@Maruti, are you listening?

I have seen many posts about "bad Nexa experience", so I am sharing my experience. Initially, I booked petrol delta (manual) on 4th Nov 2015 at SKW, Navi mumbai, later changed it to Alpha silver variant (just because I liked Alpha). PDI is completed last week and delivery is scheduled for 24th Dec 2015. Throughout the process, I did online payments and RM was quick to reply my emails. Even I requested some pictures of cars with accessories, they provided a few within minutes. My RM was friendly and frank. He told me that to push my case for on time delivery, he needed full car payment ASAP and I did. As per my knowledge, Mumbai, Pune and Nagpur are the only cities in Maharashtra with Nexa dealers and they are getting overwhelming response so I felt "money" might be the reason for my satisfying experience.

Money is not the issue. My delivery was promised for 10th but didnt even collect yhe registration papers till the 5th. So i went & gave them the papers. So i was expecting a delay and as of the morning of 10th there was no intimation.
Then he called me at 2pm saying car was ready. Had already given the list of accessories, so i asked if they were done. He informed not, so told him i will take the car on 12th, finish installing. The next day, they didnt confirm the delivery time till 9pm. It was fixed forv12,30 but i reached at 1.30. Even then the car was not given sealant & rustproofing. I was told it would take 4 hours. After speaking to the management, the informed 1 hour. Finally they gave me the car for checking at 6pm. Then the aircon & music system was not working & that took another hour to fix.

These guys are not professional car salesman. They have no checklist, no list of documents to be handed over nothing. I had to tell him that the octroi receipt was missing. Even then, the forgot to give me invoices for the accessories. After all this, the aircon stopped working the next day meaning PDI was not done at their end. And the RMs are always hassled with a large number of customers

For guys in Pune, try the Nexa at Shivajinagar. When i was looking for the Sigma, their response was great even though they knew they couldnt deliver me a car with Mumbai registration. They even sent me some initial photos before i went personally to see it for myself. Their response was really good considering it was a sunday & there was a rush as well as frequent deliveries

I agree with you. Money might be the reason for the "premium" experience.

Inititally the RM at Nexa Faridabad told that delivery of Zeta will take more than 1 month.

Next day when we went to the showroom, we told that we will do full payment if he can give the car before price hike, and he immediately agreed for 29/30 Dec.

After a TD, we told him that we will get registration done on our own and we will not opt for extended warranty. He said that it will be possible only when we *give up* our colour preference and choose whatever is available.

After some discussion, we told that we will go for Alpha and he said that now we can choose our colour! [lol]

Then after 2 days, we told him that we will opt for extended warranty also (around 10k more) and he said that the next lot will arrive on 22/23 December and he can give the car on 23/24 December!

So, the more you pay the better will be your NEXA experience! [lol]

Reading @ameyam and @ice_wise and so many others complaint about Nexa experience it seems that our unconditional love for Maruti has gone to their heads. They have started thinking that they can do whatever in India. Who is to blame for such behavior by them? It's we who have given them so much liberty.

Seems time has come when Maruti will get a shock. I see a definite fall of Maruti soon, if they did nothing to improve. They are not going to improve, if we keep on making lines at Nexa and accepting each and every terms of their.
