Link to Ebay
Selling it for 3900. You can get it at a discount of 7-8% by using coupon.
(I have not checked the price elsewhere)

Nowhere it is mentioned that it can play audio cd/mp3 cd and get the incoming call @ same time. Tried calling the Bangalore service number from here, but they are not in a mood to pick up any call. They do not have any support number other than service numbers. If needed, we need to contact thru the 'contact us' page by submitting information. They may (not) reply back to your email. Will try to get some information (Kind of free today @ office)

Small update about the phone contacts, I have successfully entered 200 out of 320 contacts so far (manually) [lol] expect finish the balance today.
[surprise] Please do not give up. Once you complete it, Sync with your microsoft id. Then check the contact online. Once you confirm, please try importing reading the help given by guys. You can easily learn for the tip given by guys here.

Regards

@Appus, thank you very much for the information on the Bluetooth device. I think it is always better to visit a dealer in Hyderabad to check this out directly as how it perform and find out the price from him, if ebay is cheaper then same can be bought.

About the phone contacts, I am entering them manually with great effort buddy !! and worried if I sync with my Hotmail account, and loosing the numbers[lol] make my life miserable

I understand what you are feeling taking the sync part but dont worry as you wont loose any of your contacts from your handset that you saved them one by one, but you would have a backup for the same over the server on hotmail/MS account of yours.
As appu said do sync for the safety for the future for your all contacts.

Everyone has always complained about problems with ActiveSync on the desktop. Many people often ran into errors and wished it would just go away. Well, with Windows Phone 7, ActiveSync is gone. Windows Phone 7 only connects to Zune when you plug it into the PC and only syncs music/videos/podcasts/pictures. That means there will be no more errors or frustrations for you when trying to sync all of your personal information management data between your Windows Phone and Outlook.

Wait a second… If it doesn’t sync with Outlook, how are you going to get all of your contacts and calendar appointments in there? You didn’t think about that while you were wishing ActiveSync would die, did you?

Unfortunately, Windows Phone 7 only syncs with Exchange ActiveSync. So that means you’ll need an Exchange ActiveSync compatible email account to get your contacts and calendar info on there. Luckily, there’s a free and easy way to get your current Outlook installation and Windows Phone 7 to sync with the same Exchange ActiveSync account.

First, you’ll need a Windows Live Hotmail email account. Next you’ll need to install the Outlook Hotmail Connector (64bit version is here). After the Hotmail Connector is installed, you can add your Windows Live Hotmail account to Outlook and you’ll get a full folder listing with sections for Contacts, Calendars, as well as email. Now transferring contacts and appointments from your stand-alone Outlook PST file to the Windows Live account is just a matter of drag and drop. Hold down the Ctrl key to copy items instead of moving them.

Once your contacts and calendar appointments have been copied to your Windows Live account, now when you get a Windows Phone 7 device everything will be synced up as soon as you log-in with your Live ID. Keeping your Hotmail account set up in Outlook will give you easy access to additions and edits that will get pushed to your phone over the air. It’s also very easy to back-up your Windows Live account in Outlook, by copy/pasting the items back into a PST file.

And don’t forget, now that Windows Live Hotmail supports Exchange ActiveSync, this will also work with any other phone that supports Exchange ActiveSync such as Apple iOS, Palm WebOS, Symbian, KIN and many Google Android devices. The advantage to using Windows Live with your Windows Phone 7 device is that your Live ID will also store and give you access to many other things such as OneNote SkyDrive syncing, Zune Pass, Xbox Live, Windows Phone 7 Marketplace, and all of the social networks that you can set up with your Windows Live Profile.

For those planning on getting a Windows Phone 7 device as soon as possible, do you have your Windows Live ID all set up and ready to go?

@RK,
You need not worry with that website. Even Iphone 4S or 5 is not listed there :)
I second your opinion of visiting a dealer before buying / purchasing. This particular device also connected thru aux port (behind the HU).

And about your phone. As a smart phone, you should do more than just calling /browsing the net. As mentioned in previous posts , you can enter email id for contacts, their address, additional contacts, photos etc.

There is a custom label one can put in contact than 'work/home/pager/mobile'. I use that 'custom label' extensively with contact. Like 'Roaming Number', 'Bangalore', 'Singapore' for same contact. Under 'Home', i have three custom label. dad/mom/landline. So i see who is calling when i get a call from Home. (Again, i do not know on windows phone).

It would be easy to email a contact if you have their email also saved.

You may be feeling 'bit too much' now. You will feel like 'oh, it was this simple' in a month for many of your questions. Don't get disheartened :)

All the best

lmao @ RK's struggle

lmao @ part 2 , details mentioned below
Windows Phone 8 support to end in July 2014 but users will be able to upgrade

Microsoft has announced the support dates for its mobile operating systems, Windows Phone 8 and Windows Phone 7.8, on its Support pages. The listing, which was first spotted by Italian website, Plaffo, reveals that Microsoft will support Windows Phone 7.8 till September 2014, and Windows Phone 8 till July 2014.

This implies that Microsoft will make updates available for the Operating System on the user's phone, including security updates, for a period of 18 months from the lifecycle start date. However, Microsoft clearly mentions that distribution of the updates could be controlled by the mobile operator or the phone manufacturer and that update availability will also vary by country, region, and hardware capabilities.

Microsoft has also issued a statement, which was published by The Seattle Times blog, clarifying that Windows Phone 8 users will be able to upgrade to the next version of Windows Phone when it comes out. The company said:

"As we've said, one benefit of moving to the Windows core is that Windows Phone 8 is upgradeable. This means that even beyond the updates we're committing to distribute for 18 months, Windows Phone 8 devices will be able to upgrade to the next version of Windows Phone when it is launched."

The WindowsPhone twitter handle also tweeted that Windows Phone 8 was upgradeable due to its Windows core.

As we’ve said, one benefit of moving to the Windows core is that Windows Phone 8 is upgradeable.

This means that Windows Phone 8 devices would be able to upgrade to the next version of the operating system. But as with other updates, the upgrade would also depend on the phone manufacturer and carrier.

Microsoft is said to be working on Windows Phone Blue, the successor to Windows Phone 8. It had earlier rolled out the Portico update to Windows Phone 8 devices.

As an aside, it's interesting to note that Windows 8 will be supported till September 2018.

@appus,@vijay wonderful technology sum-up!
@RK, That's the beauty of this thread if anyone really willing to go through each and every post. Lots to learn from these posts. And totally agree that once you have a smart phone, you should adapt to it. Make use of each and everything the device offers. Contacts and calender syndication is the core of the smart phone application. Just imagine you creating your appointments on your laptop using outlook and things getting flown in to your device automatically! All your meetings, birthdays, parties online. Another powerful app is the 'Tasks'(Not the task killers), managing your to do lists. Carry your business in your pocket no more pens and books.

But first start with Syncing your contacts, that is the beginning you will understand as you start using and exploring it.

@Nitin what is meant by imao ?? is it "in my angry opinion"[lol]

Microsoft support : It is not a big deal for me as I can use the device without any updates too as I am not update hungry at all like android users(may be I am bit conservative here)

@Indian, yes for few days I have to get used to the new device and platform. I have already sync the contacts successfully. Yes, the thread is filled with lot of information and might be useful for other readers and members too.

Here is a brief review of L620 after couple of days usage (RK, sorry for hijacking your thread. Thought a separate thread is unwarranted)

Initial impressions -

a) Quite different from the crowd
b) Windows tiled concept is quite fun to work with
c) For the price, have to say performance is quite smooth and fluidic. No amount of lag anywhere.
d) Imported data (contacts & messages) from my old phone & paired with Punto's Blue & Me without any fuss
e) Size of the phone is quite perfect to hold it in one hand & operate
f) The build is quite solid for the price (Just like my Punto [lol]
g) Battery life isnt all that great as of now. Have read world wide reviews that it stabilizes after 4-5 charge - discharge cycle
e) Clicked couple of snaps & found that camera is quite good. Front camera is an added advantage for Skype calls.
f) City Lense is a cool app to use
g) I was using Nokia maps & navigation on E5 earlier, Nokia seems to have updated maps quite well for India. Anyways havent put it to real test as of now. So lets see.
h) Nokia music store is a good option for music lovers. Can download latest songs from this store without having to bother about other mp3 downloading sites.

Keeping rest of the reviews reserved till I explore the phone completely. Of course if one is Apps & game freak, better looks elsewhere. This is simply a no-nonsense entry level smart phone which does its job elegantly
