Gurrala, it might be a problem with your battery too. 40+ % to 0%![surprise] Even S3 doesn't drain like this. Go have a check with Nokia CC and replace it(no hassle, just tell them that it happened).

@Edios,

It is just one time experience, I think I have to see that how it behaves for few days before going to Nokia CC. anyway I have a warranty for a year.

@Raja, Set to low brightness according to the nokia official battery saving tips. I have followed all those tips.

Now installed a battery monitoring application which shows me what is on what is not and other details too

I tried using nokia drive yesterday during my trip to my town(100km away from Hyderabad), they just work well till the outskirts of Hyderabad after that it started searching for the destination where as Google maps are very good even on my old phone used to show me all small villages and a well satellite view of the small villages, roads and houses too. I think nokia maps are good only in big cities and not on the villages and town side

Smart phones seems to be have so many facilities but also so many issues too like battery eating up, apps running on back ground and also everything looks bit complicated to me as I am using one for the first time.

I used to connect my previous phone via USB cable with my music system in car to listen to the songs as well to charge the phone. But I am unable to do the same with my L 620 as music system says it cannot read the device. Is there any solution to this friends

its not SD card its inbuilt storage in LUMIA 620 and the OS doesn't allow to let any device access as OS / Phone is already using it [only one device can access the Memory in any given point of time]

i believe this is applicable to Android and other OS too, experts please pour in your opinion on this coz i never used windows phone but came across this specific issue on Galaxy S2

Other options:

Option 1: if your car has bluetooth enabled then you can play it via bluetooth on your car [it has to be paired and configured on car as per the audio system on your car]

Option 2: if your Lumia has FM Transmitting facility then you can transmit the song via FM and tune your car audio system to same frequency to listen to it

You have to use an Aux cable here. Or even better,get a USB stick.
