Wow that's a mean looking Polo there Jobs. Nice snap of your ride. Those blackened headlamps look absolutely butch and devilish in this particular angle and particularly looking brilliant on this candy white shade. Congrats once again and waiting for your ownership thread now.

Re: Sporty Yet Elegant: My Candy White Volkswagen Polo TDI

Well long time since I updated this thread. Actually I have not been driving so much lately. Been caught up with work as well as studies,so literally no time to go for joy rides in my Polo. Have driven just about 1000kms in the last 3 months or so. Finally hit the 13k kms on the odo yesterday after I planned for a small hill drive upto Timber-trail(hardly 35-40kms from Chandigarh) with a couple of friends.

Had got the tyre wheel alignment and balancing done a week back as I felt there was some kind of wobbling and plus the car used to steer to the left in no time. Now it seems the problem has been solved with this alignment and balancing correction.

Will be getting to drive this car finally out of town after such a long time. Driving to Shimla and Kufri for a couple of days on 10th July. Looking forward to that.

Here are a few pics of yesterday on the way to Timber-trail and back.

I just noticed the alloys on your car now. They look really good in this picture. I will be checking other pictures later.

And yes. I had the same problem after I had alignment and balancing checked. I will be getting it corrected when I get the free alignment done next week.

Thanks VipinLJ. The one I got is a pretty common alloy wheel design. That time I was in a hurry and was just looking for 15inch alloys as I didn't wanted to void the warranty and all. Now I am convincing myself to get 17 inches alloy wheels with low profile tyres as my running has been restricted to only city drives from last 3 months and it will remain so for the coming year. Though won't indulge into them very soon as I am cash strapped for now. Maybe around Diwali time.

Here are a few pics of the alloy wheels I have at present in my Polo.

17" alloys would be stunning. [:)]
Even I wanted a 17" inch for my polo. But as for everyone, vitamin M is a problem.

Vitamin M will be a problem now and later, it will be your back (considering roads in Kerala) [evil]

Stick to 15" or 16" max. Anything more than that and you are in for a (very) bumpy ride.

I know that but I can't resist my temptation for it.
Would surely try it out once I buy my own car. [:)]

Wow! Those alloys looks stunning and those timber trail pics :3

I wish I drive in there one day [:D]
Thanks mate. Hope you do get to drive on that road someday sameway as I wish of driving on coastal roads in my Polo someday looking at your pics.[;)] Timber-trail is a nice resort kind of a thing on the drive from Chandigarh to Shimla. Prominent landmark place now.

17" alloys would be stunning.

Yes they would look brilliant. I am just contemplating if it will restrict my drives to only city runs as now I really don't car where I am taking my car. But with 17inchers on board will have to think twice before taking it out on highways. So I guess it'll take some more convincing from my head to take the plunge.

Yes 17inchers will make the ride a little harsh. They will just add to the external aesthetic appeal of the car. Nothing else.

Thanks ToughGuy. Although they are one of the most common alloy wheel designs available, they tend to look good on almost all cars I've seen them on with.

Thanks Vamsuduk. I have tried my best to keep this thread running and alive.[:)] How is your gorgeous black Polo doing?

That's good to know. Now it seems the reliability issues which were prevalent with the earlier VW cars in India has faded away. We have so many Polo owners on TAI and majority of them are having a trouble free experience with their rides. [clap]
