bottom line is hyundai would be the korean range rovers.

you need to experiment a lot to find the best efficient speed and driving pattern. engine is tuned for max efficiency on long highway stretches but body and suspension is tuned for a city drive.

What i have found is quick gear changes and being in a higher gear most of the time seems to increase the FE a bit. Rather then 8.7 it goes upto 9.3 kmpl.

yeah but i noticed when i get to 60 faster and then shift to 5th i get more fe then being slow to reach to 60 and then changing, also if i change above 2000 rpm the fe is good. I wonder how they even programmed their gear shift suggester(their eco mode)

and when your in 5th gear all speeds between 80-120 give good fe not below that.

and you polished the black trims as well. what did you use for the black plastic in the grill and the side view mirror ?

Yep buddy, washed the car well before the polish.

I used meguiars quik wax.

ahh no wonder the gloss is top notch cause its a meguiars gloss, the car is still glossy after almost a month of using it still beads well.
but what did you use for the black plastic trims?

I used a plastic / rubber polish bought from a local shop - I dont remember the name on top of my head. Will check and post here once I get back home.

I used something called Vista car care. It is good on Vinyl and plastics. Something like what allhyundaicars has posted on the pic above.

so aristo i went through all the posts and saw you said you got 16 kmpl on highways. i still don't have any plans for a highway trip but

what's the current fe your are getting in city ? you mentioned 10.2. now what's the current fe you are getting [confused]
