I have not replaced the stock HU. Planned to replace it during diwali. Till now i have replaced all four speakers with component and coaxial speakers and added a Polk sub woofer which gives great punch. Also a 4 channel amp for speaker and 2 channel amp for woofer. Be extra careful while upgrading the ICE. Go to some known professional/qualified installer for perfect wiring. As the stock HU does not have pre outs, you have to be very careful during installation. All the experiences are shared at audio upgrade thread for verna.

another thing are you guys having problem with the AC ?

sometimes it lose the cooling. it happened twice already. i keep the ac at 23* with blower 2 even if the outside temperature is 40*.

but still yesterday in the evening , it stopped cooling. there was a strong gale yesterday with lots of dust and only after that it happened. so do you think something clogged ?

the previous time it happened in a sunny afternoon.

I think the compressor automatically slows down once the car interior temperature reaches the set temperature. Try lowering the temperature.

sandy i used to be in bazookas position and hated the car, but loved it when i used to drive it.
now days the fe issues are solved only my suspension issues are not, and rattling keeps creeping in from all the doors now all sound similar and its related to a door locking rod mechanism. The only bugging issue is the bumpers we need to be very very careful bout it.

if the interior temperature reaches near requested temperature the coolness of the air from vent will decrease.
however if you feel temperatures are not reaching then clean the cabin air filter.

btw if you follow auto cutoff it won't be accurate, cause some pumps will cut of at different value.i fill till the brim, but i instruct the guys not to fill it above the vapor line. in our car when theres 5 litres remaining the light will glow when theres 2 litres remaining it will blink, I've tested this till the car ran dry and stalled. Ironically when you fill up from a dry tank till top only 43l go in, where as in most cars i have noticed if manufacturer claimed 45l tank like say my aveo 49-50l goes in from a fully empty tank.
the fuel log app is the most accurate.

Bumper is very very fragile. The slightest of hit can make you replace the entire bumper including the fog lamps costs around 7K. @Nick - correct me if I am wrong.

fe issues are solved, so no worries, living with suspension and door rattling noise, will get it sorted at my 15,000 second service. got 6000km more to go should take 5 months or less

This fragile bumper is very expensive though it is of very low quality. The scratch painting is even more expensive and goes on increasing depending upon the size of the scratches. Waiting for the bumper to come.

i have reduced the usage but my girl uses it more cause i spend more time either driving the car or waxing/cleaning it. And whenever i go just for a drive i prefer going alone, switching of the ice and turning my phone off and just cruising away at 70.

yeah seriously mate, while i drive out for breakfast in the mornings i turn the ice of, and just drive along. its more fun and relaxing also get to know if alls well in the car.
was checking some news papers seems that mumbai auto rickshaw union leader wants a total ban on registration of new private cars as they add to the traffic congestion and to also promote public transport, he goes on to say they would create an agitation by the end of june.

what has become of our country, sun film law and now this. Just 5 mms ahead of my area there was a gang rape of 2 girls, and out there there is a police chowki, also loads of accidents happen there, i missed to get into a major one when a truck overturned in front of me there.
