You can connect the camera to your iPhone or smart phone and pretty much control (playback / record, view) everything. Off course, there will be some latency to deal with. It is latest in the series. Other than wifi it is identical to what shreeni0403 has. I should have had it during my Munnar last year. Time to plan interesting road trips.

From where did you buy the camera ? How much did it cost ? How long did it take to ship ? Looking to buy one more [:)]

Re: "SARAH" - Detailed XUV 5OO Ownership Experience

Hi All,

I had booked an XUV W6 last week and expecting delivery by November 8th. While booking, I had insisted on two things, October manufactured car and Bridgestone tyres. Today sales person called me up to say that 5 vehicles which are in stock are loaded with Apollo tyres.

Has anybody use Apollo tyres? If so, what is the feed back? Should I wait for the next stock to come (after 2 weeks) to try my luck for Bridgestone? How bad or Good is Apollo when compared with others?

Thanks
Annns

mine are J.K. actually.
bridgestones are pretty good but not much grip.
the apollos, esp if theyre AT are very good at grip and they last FAR better than bridges.
apollo AT hawkz did 80k on my fortuner and got new apollos last month.

You can get them swapped with the tyres of your choice with a tyre dealer paying the difference. This is what I did with my PS with Apollo H/T and is the best option you have. There is a very less chance of getting a Bridgestone in the next lot as I am seeing a lot of Apollo H/T (as stock) now a days as they are cheaper. Probably Apollo has given them some really very cool deals [;)]

Still you can wait to try your luck if you have that much patience.

apollo HT are the cheapest tyres I've seen these days. I'd stay away. SUV needs AT NOT HT ones.
my fav is Yokohama geolander at but hard to find.

Yes, Apollo H/T are one of the cheapest. I have Yokohama Geolander ATS on my PS and were easily available. May be they are short of supply in your area.

In fact, I insisted for Bridgestone tyres at the time of buying, looks like it depends on the lot / batch gets dispatched from the factory. Mine came with JK tyres. I had experienced vehicle pull during initial days and M & M serivce folks could not fix it. They found something wrong with tyres and replaced all the 5 tyres with Bridgestone. If I can rightly recall, the ride was much smoother ever since I got Bridgestone [:)]. I have not made a significant note on road grip factor though.

here comes my suction mount from eBay.com. Can't wait to fix the dashcam in my car [:)], my be coming weekend [:)]

@ shreeni0403, did you get the car charger seperately? I don't think it is part of the camera pack. If so, can you share the link?
