for projectors I always suggest hid, as hid bulb has even Light distribution and very good punch. best color is 4300k.

For high beams, You may go for LED since HID will not offer flashing.

TDautoz is a member of our forum. You may wish to scroll up and PM him about the new website or Selling process.

Pricing of both is same. Roughly 5k for a kit. Longetivity data is not yet available on LED as they have been available since just 2~3 years. Bulb life of Very good quality Premium HID bulb is 7 years. Maybe 5 years for regular HID bulbs. They tend to color shift as they age. LED will not color shift but will progressively go dimmer as they age. Also, Ballasts are prone to Voltage spikes/ Fluctuations so these may get bust without a warning.

Performance of HID bulb is better in Projector application whereas LED is better in Reflector setup due to Inbuilt Glare shields.

Hi bhvm

I have come upon this thread after reading through multiple posts - and I must say it looks like you have done your research well in the matter of headlamps. I am in this same boat as you have outlined here - I have a Pajero Sport (H11 low beam, HB3 high beam). I had upgraded my lights to Osram NBUs about two years ago, and now am looking to upgrade to LED (over HID, as per my limited knowledge - where LEDs seem to be more reliable, energy efficient, and maintenance free). I looked up the tdautoz ebay site which you have offered for HID kits - sadly the seller doesnt exist anymore.

Request of you:
1. for LED headlamp (only my lowbeam - H11 with Pajero Sport projector), which ones would you suggest?
2. For HID, which would you suggest?

Any comparison perspective (including price, longevity, performance, etc) between these two would also be very welcome. Thanks
Hi Anshuman,

We have temporarily removed the products from Ebay will soon be available on all the eCommerce sites. Currently, the products are available only on www.uglare.com. In case of any further information about HID/LED technology you can call or watsapp us on 9818952900.

Hope this helps.

Regards
TDAutoz

Sir thank you for the update,
have gone through the total 22 sheets and must have missed something,
i need to understand what is the actual position of the LED's and the glare screen, so it will become easy for me to find the required one. There are a lot of ones on the net and confusing.
(if you could provide me with a picture it would be better to understand and restart the search.

thanks and regards

You can check out recommended bulbs here-
http://www.theautomotiveindia.com/f...onversion-bulbs-cars-bikes-17.html#post539022

The small metal lip on Low beam LED is the Glare shield.
It helps control the beam and prevents blinding effect to oncoming traffic.

Is your car using the H4 Bulbs?
If so you can buy these-
https://www.aliexpress.com/item/New...lgo_pvid=83b30e1f-09de-4e0c-8219-0e60ab584e14

Position of LED is very important as it should align with position of Original Filaments otherwise the Beam pattern will be messed.

Hi bhvm,
Thanks to 11.11 sale, I have finally decided to bite the bullet but need your quick help on deciding between the below bulbs I have shortlisted. Going by your posts here, I have picked the 4300K yellow color from the available choices (stock bulb is H4). Please provide your thoughts on these. [:)]

Choice 1: Your recommendation. 12000LM
https://www.aliexpress.com/item/120...8.html?spm=a2g0s.13010208.99999999.305.aebbTv

Choice 2: Same as above, I guess with 8000LM
https://www.aliexpress.com/item/New...7.html?spm=a2g0s.13010208.99999999.302.aebbTv

Choice 3: A friend has this on his Tiago, its description says red copper has better heat dissipation than aluminum and claims to have high tech heat sink threads vs fan in CNSUNNYLIGHT. Claims this LED is better than CREE chips. 9600LM

I did not like the Runstreet at all. Chip is too wide and there is no Glare shield. Ask your Taigo friend if he is getting good beam pattern out of it. And I would like to see his low beam pic on the wall. However generally, wide chips mess out beam patterns big time.

I liked the CNSunny ones. They are essentially the same design. However Cree XHP50 is a superior chip with higher output hence higher cost. These designs also have glare shields like original H4 bulb spec. Recommended.

Anyways, how much is this 11.11 discount offer? I may get a few things too![clap]
Its on saturday for us right?

Thanks for the quick response, I appreciate that. The CNSUNNY normally costs $56 and is reduced to $40 during 11.11 sale, which is why I am ready to bite the bullet [:D].
I am not sure about the timing though, they are ahead of us by 2hrs 30mins if that helps..

I have the following one in my tiago. Beam cut off is not good. Light output is better than the stock halogen but not by a great margin , 20-30% maybe. If light output is the concern nothing beats 100/90 halogen with relay and wiring harness. Best value for money with the best light output.
BTW I had even 130/100 with relay and harness in my swift for quite some time. Didnt faced any problem with reflector or lens. I just used to switch off the headlight when stand still and tried to avoid it in b2b traffic as there is not enough air flow to cool the headlights.
Also I ensured the headlights were focussed correctly.

Post pics of beam cutoff if on wall if possible.

Please note that the light is not as bright as it appears in the photo. The distance from the car and the gate is about 25 feet.

your beam pattern is not all that bad. however it is slightly narrow. high beam pic has absolutely zero foreground illumination.I suggest try aiming lights a little lower For better foreground.

low beams with fogs looks the best.
other reason could be 6000k color which is not ideal for eyes.
