OMG!! yes that is indeed a fiesta. one of my friends who owns an indigo had met with a similar accident where the indigo was literally turned into an indica.
Linea accident is shocking and am surprised to hear that all the occupants are safe! Kudos to Fiat for their build quality. If it was an Innova , i20 or other flimsy cars , the roof would have crumpled onto the occupants!
Fiesta is looking bad but damages are not very huge. A Hatch would have suffered more damages for sure!
@ Pranay Looking really horrible! Where you the driver? I can see one timber log inside your car still! The interiors are looking badly damaged! Travelling alone? Any injuries to anybody?
How it happened exactly? Innova is looking in a really bad condition and it is going to cost big to get it back to normal condition!
OMG!! OMG!!!RIP. But why the hell were they travelling in an Amby, that too a Black+Yellow one. Though some of them aer air-coned, they are real rare, even 7 years ago.
They should have stuck to Fast Track.

@ Cool Dhaya: I was travelling alone from chennai to pondicherry and this happened at kalpakkam. It costed me Rs. 4,50, 000 and 45 days to get this back on to its original condition and the cars has clocked 60k kms after the accident. I escaped unhurt as i had the seat belts on. I was on 140+ on the speedo when this truck came from a parking by lane on to the main road and i had no option but to hit it.
Arkin - I was in a state of shock for a couple of minutes but then then a huge traffic pile had formed so moved to the side line and then assessed the damages. Called my technician and told them need road side assistance. They told if the engine has not taken beating and if there is water / coolant in the radiator, drive the car down. Nothing will happen. As per their request i did so and drove it 100 kms back to the city and whoa it worked absolutely fine. What build quality I must say!
@ Pranay I am amazed to hear that the Innova was driven back to the city in the same state! My friend's Swift which hit a TATA Ace at only 40kmph refused to start itself!
And about the incident which Ilango mentioned i read the report in the paper. They are foreigners who had come to India on a tour. They were here to Chennai just that morning from Delhi by flight. They had booked a trip to Mahabalipuram from airport and this accident ocurred on the way to Mahabalipuram! I think they are just a couple and they died on the spot including the driver! May theirs souls R.I.P!
