Optimus has returned home after a 3600km journey to Kota, Jaipur, Delhi.

Amazing performance, brakes felt really good somehow this time even at speeds of 120kmph.

No issues at all.

Re: Optimus: Mahindra XUV 500W8 FWD. 20,000 Kms Completed

Optimus got the 4th paid service done on Saturday at 32000km.
.....
Rest everything was good. The RM this time was better than the regular RM, The car was properly cleaned and tyres polished. Quite happy with the service this time.
Hey, nice to know. Which service center you are following up in Pune?

this time the left brake light bulb got fused, so took it to the SVC as last time it took a lot of elbow grease and risk of breaking stuff while changing the bulb.

The SVC person changed the bulb in less than 5-6 minutes, and the same thing took me and my brother over 40 minutes to do.

The bulb cost from Mahindra is 76Rs, Labour charges of 85 and around 25Rs of Taxes.

Also got the insurance renewed for Optimus for the 5th year of Optimus, from HDFC Ergo, IDV = 9,50,000 and Premium = 19000, with Zero Dep.

Compliments of Amdavadi traffic Sense, a busted tail light and marks on the bumper. One of the most horrible city traffic I have seen, and I have seen Pune, Hyderabad, Surat, Delhi.

Optimus completed a 2500km road trip from Pune to Rann of Kutch and back, along with another battle scar (as shown above).

As usual no issues, and just a perfect vehicle for long distance driving, by long I mean 1200kms one side without a break, and the driver and passengers in office the next day.

Will try to post some more pics of the trip in sometime.

Will get the tail light changed during the 60000km service, any thoughts on the bumper?

a small touch up job on bumper will be fine.
Not sure that Service center will touch and treat this small part :) . They always intended to paint it entirely or at least half. Had this issue with my Swift.

BHVM, any suggestion for oil change in XUV? Service center can't drain it entirely ( 100% ) from engine. Hence, newly added oil too become black in just a first 1km initial round. :(

The touch up will have to be done at a 3rd party vendor.

no one can drain the engine oil completely and the new one turning black is fine I think.
