Honda brio SMT at 4.8l on road with free insurance?....

Hi...I m from Punjab and being offered brio SMT with no accessories and free insurance at 4.80 on road.

Is this a good deal, please share.

Try bargaining these

Accessories :

-Seat covers (if you dont get it, go for aftermarket. Seatcovers are costly with dealers)
-Gear lock
-Carpet Mat
-Anti Rust underbody coating
-corner bumper & door protectors
-rear parking sensor kit (not necessary in brio as it has got a clear rear view without blindspots. But you can give it a try)

cash discounts

-ask for corporate discount
-extended 2 year warranty
-zero dip

Went for a test drive of Brio yesterday at Prime Honda, patparganj. Car is superb overall. Dealer only offering Free insurance like gauraviift said. I haven't committed anything to him, will wait for his call and ask for free 0 dep and extended warranty at least.

While test driving I could notice tire noise in the test car (vmt). Forgot to check which tires it had. Will check next time I go there. Anyone else noticed this?

@gauraviift which dealer please?

When you book your vehicle (assuming you will, and will keep us posted[;)]) ask your dealer if you can manage to get either goodyear or bridgestone. They have considerably low noise especially bridgestone. Wish michelins came as an option too[sleep]

Hi..i am geeting it in Punjab. However, I was about to take delivery I noticed tonnes of hairline scratches on bonnet and rusted bolt inside the bonnet.

Car is July made and Red in color.

Hi Gaurav I believe you can outright reject the delivery pointing out the scratches to the dealership and ask for a replacement.

Hi Guys,
I finalised the deal for my car recently. The Eastern Honda dealership is giving me free insurance of about Rs 15k, free underbody protection of Rs 6.5k, free floor mat and idol only.NO cash or corporate discount.They informed me corporate discount is permanently discontinued. Sorry could not wrest anything more from them :(. I had opted for free 2 years extended warranty and zero depreciation (B2B) as a paid optional pack.The other thing is they had charged me Rs 1700 extra as they said the price had gone up recently and the price prevailing at the time of delivery is applicable. Don't know how much true this is....was really sorry that could not negotiate better....

I had gone to Honda today and they are offering free insurance, 15000 Cash discount, Free Teflon and Under body coating, Car floor mats and Mud flaps. I am still bargaining more to get more Cash discount or else 3rd & 4th year warranties and Zero Dep policy. I think you should push harder!

You spoke my mind set12. The tyres are MRF ZVTS and they are pathetic. So much of rolling noise. Honda does have option of Goodyear and Bridgestone. I have told him to get me the model with either of these two!!!

did you get the deal from Eastern Honda in Kolkata for Honda Brio VX MT and did you make the deal in this month only? Then I will defnitely push harder!!!! Please let me know asap as I had already paid the 15% and am yet to start the loan process.Thanks a lot.

No in Mumbai. I think they still can better it by 5000 plus. Although I am not going ahead with Brio but need a CNG so shortlisted on i10 1.2 magna CNG and Wagonr lxi cng.

Getting 46000 cash on i10 and 32000 on wagonr. Also there is 30k exchange bonus on hyundai and 25000 on wagonr. Difference in ownership is coming to 51000 more on i10 that has better build quality and better quicker engine. Also it carries more features like all power windows, Electronically adjustable orvms etc. Only thing is that i10 cng is Hyundai certified but installed after by dealer. WagonR comes factory fitted. Confused!!!
