Offers by Sundaram Honda for Honda BRIO?

Hi Guys,

I am planning to book a BRIO this month but the dealer(we got only one Honda Dealer) at my place(Vishakapatnam - Sundaram Honda) is offering literally nothing apart from what Honda has announced. Free Insurance worth about 17K + 5K as cash discount I believe. With this they have quoted BRIO SMT to cost 5.05 Lacs. Has anyone from Vishakapatnam or from any other city approached Sundaram Honda for BRIO and if so, what are the offers you got? Please let me know

Thank You,

Irfan.

Yep, let me call up the dealer tomm & see what he says. Do you think he can incorporate the change locally and ask for the extra money?

Guys I was in a Honda showroom in the morning to discuss about Honda BRIO. I did approch two different dealers in Bangalore and the offers are as follows.

Dealer-1

Price list OTR on VMT - 656555
Offering OTR price - 610000 (no extended warranty, Free comprehencive Isurance)
Freebies : Reverse parking sensor and floor mats

Dealer-2

Price List OTR on VMT - 658030
Offering OTR Price - 617000 (with extended warranty, Free comprehencive insurance)
Freebies: not discussed yet, will try once again before booking.

Now, how is the offer? Do you guys think that there is still something I can negotiate or is it a fair deal?
I am waiting for my friend to pay for my wagonR to book BRIO immediately. Not looking for exchange as I am getting more for my WagonR outside.

@gns_blr; The reversing sensors are a 13k+ item.
Yes, but i am bit confused about the extended warranty[confused]. Anyone here aware about possibility of purchasing extended waranty after some time? If possible how the pricing would be, when comapring to the one offered at this stage?

gns_blr; I think the extended warranty is a con. What does it cover - just the drive train. How many engine or gearbox failures are you aware of unless you do 25,000+ a year, and even there if the EW is unlimited mileage. As for the rest there are more holes in the EW than in Swiss Cheese. Also, it forces you to stick to their maintenance schedule, even if you are a low mileage owner.

Thanks for your input. I too guess that it is a game from the dealer as they know that even 10% of vehicles will not approch them for a warranty claim. I am also upto a game, decided to surrender that extended waranty and go for basic accessories with that amount.
