If the Brio At sells as well as I expect book fast, the discounts may vanish. Launch of the AT is most probably on the 18th since the period to the 15th is verboten being Pitra Paksha.

Honda is a company with a good reputation. According to my dealer they are not offering much cash discounts on even festivals also. On S(O) and V model they are offering 15K+ insu. and 35K+insu. .. They have created an image that Honda doesn't believe in bargain. This is the main reason of range bound sales figures for BRIO month on month in my view.
Referring data on the blogs, reviews of real users (Friends & Relatives) and test ride, I am happy with selection of my BRIO SMT in 4.84L including basic accessories like Body Polish Coating, Floor mats, Body cover, Number Plates,Reverse Parking Sensors, Perfume & Pendrive.+ insurance. I am happy with the response of Landmark Honda.

I just talked to two dealers regarding the deals & discounts for this month, as of now it is 5K+ free insurance + some accessories when you actually finalize the deal. However both of them commented that they are expecting some more discounts from the dealers side during Navrattras. Afterall dealers too need to pull the customers for their own sales figures!!!!!

SA from classic honda (faridabad) also offered me same deal though he said in the end "Sir baith ke baat karte hai, main best deal hi doonga" , maybe leaving some space for extra discount or freebies.

Thank You for starting off this thread. Very helpful for the folks who are planning to book a BRIO this month. Even I am planning this month and following is the Quote given in Andhra Pradesh.

Honda Brio SMT:

Ex-Showroom : 434821

12% lifetax : 52430

Insurance : 12748

Handling charges : 5000

Onroad Price : 505000

Do you guys think it's a good deal or are am getting fooled by the dealers? Also can someone clarify on the insurance part, currently they said it'll be for 2 yrs (warranty).

Please Advice.

dealer is not offering anything to you. Here in Meerut dealer is offering insurance+10K discount.

Yea, that's what I thought...it's very disappointing but I have no other option to go about and I just love the brio. Well do you think trying out a Swift Petrol mid version makes sense? the car is essentially for my parents and BRIO being small & easy, i thought it would suit their driving style. Also swift is atleast 40K above SMT i guess.

I think Brio is better than swift as it is compact, easy to drive and swift VXI is more costlier around 50k than brio.

Had a chat with tthe dealer a while ago. that dude is ready to charge 5.96L for brio mid version :( No swift for sure. Brio is the one & hope some luck comes my way
