Re: Next Generation Swift & Dzire Launch By 2017

Well by seeing the picture of the above post - I Find this the 2017 Modern Look of HM Ambassador if the Company Bother to update themselves with Time....Look at the Front Wind Screen A-B Pillar and the Back Windscreen ---- All Glass Area is a strong resemblance of the HM Ambassador.

Anyhow I prefer the colour at 4th Pic's right side car - Tha Car stand beside the White Dezire.

Edit :- Without Projector HeadLamp Car Looks Horrible - (No offence to any owner) - Just looking the previous post pic.

Re: Next Generation Swift & Dzire Launch By 2017

All about the NEW DZIRE. Aggressively Priced - Draws 33K bookings, 8 weeks waiting period!

2017-Swift-Dzire-Launch.jpg

- A testament to the car's popularity in India is the fact that the carmaker sold 13.81 lakh units (with a 50 per cent segment share) of the previous two generations of the Dzire

- Maruti's management expect the new generation Dzire to outsell its predecessor, taking this car into its own brand space, which is why it dropped 'Swift' from the Dzire’s name.

- The new-generation Maruti Suzuki Dzire is based on Suzuki’s B platform a.k.a. the HEARTECT platform, which is a derivative of the same platform that also underpins the Baleno.

- The latest iteration of the subcompact is nearly 105 kg lighter in comparison to the exiting version
It also gets a more rigid structure, thanks to the use of high strength steel.

-Inside, the new Dzire retains the two-tone theme- it adds a new flat-bottom steering wheel, while the centre console now comes with a touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and MirrorLink compatibility.

- The new Maruti Dzire will continue to be offered with the same engine options as its predecessor

- Though the sedan's design is evidently inspired from the next-generation Swift, the new Dzire is not merely ‘a Swift with a boot’ anymore. Its A-pillar is angled more sharply down to create a more apparent sedan outline. The front grille is the new Dzire’s standout physical feature; it is wide and makes the car appear bigger and more premium.

Launched at a starting price of INR 5.45 lakhs

Good pricing,no brainer for those looking for CS.VXI is the most value for money.

I would still prefer Baleno over this for its looks and black interiors. However, would be interesting to know about the dzire ride quality vis-a-vis Baleno.

P.S business ho to Maruti jaisa ,varna na ho!

Priced around 10k higher than expected...
33k already booked. Is it Bahubali 2 or what?

It is only possible for Maruti to sell Baleno and Dzire side by side..
To me both car serves the same purpose now.. Similar size, comparable boot size, same engine, similar features (Only exception AMT, and dealership).
But since Maruti sells so many volumes, it is possible for them spend money on r&d for 2 similar products...

Wondering who would be interested in Ignis now?

MSIL is the Baahubali of Indian Auto Sector bud![lol]

Buddy, we as customers can surely cross shop from Maruti's line up based on their current pricing trend. However, MSIL as a company surely knows the right ways to differentiate their each product and put across the same to the target audiences in each segment. Let me tell you, NEXA and regular MSIL dealerships are no different and the only difference between the two is the dress of the SA(s) and of-course one gets a Can of Diet Coke in Nexa but not in regular Maruti Dealerships. To me the front look of New Dzire resembles to female version of Koi Mil Gaya's Jaadoo. Those pouted lips and eyes resemble to the grill and headlights of the new Dzire.

Ya, now that is a question worth a thought. But as I said, they know how to differentiate their products so they'll surely figure out. Ignis from day 1 to me was an overpriced, space-less and half-hearted design but the brand name on it is something which commands immense respect.
