But 12 lakhs OTR is too damn high, as per reports its expected to be between 5.9-10.5 lakhs ex showroom Delhi for diesel variants

After ex showroom consider the road tax, insurance and other bits it will definitely shot up and fyi if 10.5 is the ex showroom Delhi then except the OTR to come around 11.50 Lakhs easily, forget about Bangalore and cities in south (Cost more dearer than Delhi)

Still this is going to be the winner ripping the competitiors apart.

I think prospective buyers in Bangalore should wait until July 1st for the GST to be implemented. GST may ease out the exorbitant taxes in Bangalore. Just my 2 cents.

Gst is just affecting ex showroom price of the car. Under GST small cars have been put under 28% tax so states where VAT is more like Karnataka, prices would be almost same. States where VAT is less like Delhi, prices would drastically increase. Road tax is unaffected by GST and would remain same.

Oh no...this is an eye opener. So GST is of no use in reducing state wise taxes. I didn't know this. I am sorry for Delhi people where car prices are the cheapest of all. When I was checking the prices of Dzire on car dehko and I was surprised to see that it costs 40k more in Bangalore variant to variant

Accident reported for the new Dzire in Gwalior

Days ahead of its highly anticipated launch, the all new Maruti Dzire was involved in an high speed accident in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh. The accident left the new Dzire badly damaged bringing into question the safety of the compact sedan.

Any pic available of dashboard for base/mid version. I want to check layout of dashboard without touch screen. Baleno, they have provided a nice layout in delta version.

Although, the car is about to launch in 4 days, I highly doubt if LXI/VXI model be avaiable at showroom on 16th.
