Asta(O) is the only available option here in Bangalore atleast. There is no Asta (without ABS and Airbags and neither its pricing is released by Hyundai).

All prices of top end being shown in media and forums pertain to Asta(O) variant with ABS and Airbags.

Hyundai is marketing hard the Grand i10. Those who’re interested could check it out over a weekend at these malls. It’s also on showcase at IGI Airport Terminal 3.

Whats is the price of Vxi and Sports in Banglore?
If you are planning to drive 70% on highways swift has good handling but for VXI variant there are concerns expressed about brakes.

getting On road price VXI- 572000 and grand sportz 552000

Swift vxi - low maintenance, good mileage, fun to drive on highway, great engine, breaking issue is a known factor though Maruti has never publicly admitted it, you should thoroughly investigate this before finalizing vxi, or go for zxi.

Grand i10 sportz - latest model, great interior space, superior interior quality, more features than swift vxi, strong hyundai A.S.S, bigger boot, great engine, real mileage only owners can tell, but almost all cars give good mileage on highways...

Must test drive both before finalizing either!

For city driving, grand i10 is a winner. Swift takes a lead on old i10 in highway driving experience, but grand i10 with increased weight and additional features will give swift a run for its money. Also you will get a newly launched car which seems to be additional benefit.

I am not very sure of average of grand i10 though. Swift will easily give you 15 plus (city+highway avg) but a friend of mine having i10 is not getting more than 13 in highway driving.

Please take a test drive for getting the feeling.

Thanks all for your advice, I have taken Swift and sportz TD, found negligible difference in driving.
it was leass than 5km stretch that to in bangalore city.

Finally thinking to book sportz model of grand i10, since as you all told me ASS is good for hyundai too and yess forgot to mention steering felt light compare to swift but stability was same for both vehicles. finally made my mind for Grand i10 sportz. Pure white

@PArth : an you please tell me how much mileage you are getting from your Brand New Grand ?
