I have already done that in facebook page and same case here, no reply from ford India,
I think Ford Figo aka Aspire are the only cars Ford builds across the earth that has an unsafe structure, even Mustangs structure though fragile was rated bad only for its A pillar, rest all even side impact and frontal collision was a success[frustration]
Several mails exchanged and Ford continues to claim "We reiterate the fact that our vehicles are one of the best-built vehicles on the safety aspect."

They said the same before I bought the car and say the same now after NCAP results are out.
I told them to share their internal crash test results and how they call it safe. Lets see what they reply.

Regarding the door unlock issue (or feature) - My wife and 1 year old kid is travelling in the back seat all the time with child lock enabled. This is a bit of hassle and a bit of letdown when people sometimes talk like even the basic cars have the lock feature and Figo misses it ! But as some one pointed out it is a safety feature in case of an accident.

Few days back I had mentioned about slight burn signs on the HL reflector. Please find the picture of the same.

Hi Allhyundaicars!
Last week I saw a video in YouTube uploaded by a Figo owner. In the video the owner of the Figo leaves his hands from the steering wheel while in various speeds and the car automatically goes to the left immediately. I did a test drive of the petrol Figo on the very next day and to my shock, the car actually goes to the left if I leave the hands from the steering. Have you felt anything like that in your Figo??? I zeroed in on the petrol Figo after several months of research on mid size hatchbacks for buying my 1st car. After that test drive, I am completely disappointed and am now considering checking out other options in this price range, even the Tata Tiago was on my list...

Please share your opinions on this issue as only THIS damn thing is a deal breaker for me for going with the Figo....

Thanks in advance.
Best regards, Balaram.

@Balaram, this issue was pointed out by some users but several others have vouched that they do not face such a problem on there figo.

A different suggestion , that there are better options than figo petrol. Figo is famous for its diesel engine performance. And not its petrol sibling. And one of the let down I realized later was that, the back seat of figo is not foldable 60:40 . :(

I am not facing this issue in my car but you can ask your advisor to let you drive a little bit after booking the car to check if the issue is present or not. Tiago is a vfm car. If you are OK with the space it's the best car for its price

@satson- get it replaced under warranty.

I meant to say that you can access the door by pulling the lever once in a Fiesta and twice on Polo. The door opening lever would override the central locking. I would have preferred a speed sensing lock on the Fiesta though which I sorely miss compare to my Vento.

I think the issue can be addressed easily one needs to get the wheel balancing and aligning done and also it may be due to the road banking. Lets say the road tappers to the left then obviously the car will pull to the left and vice-versa. I had these issue but got the balancing and alignment done and it doesn't pull any more I get it done regularly every 10K my car follows the direction even at 120Kmph unless there is a banking on the road. [:D]
Petrol Figo is very good car considering the service and parts price not to forget the space [:D] it is Value for money easily, only down side being the mileage which is around 17Kmpl. I own a diesel Aspire over all service cost is less then what i spend for my pulsar 150 [lol]

Good driving and great figures, Ford diesel has a potential to do even better mileage figures always a joy to look at the reader and find good economy number. Mine I have done 26K and I always manage to get around 21Kmpl on highway with AC. Best figures I got was for 478KM highway stretch in half tank[:D].

petrol owners how much mileage are you getting in city ? would be helpful if you tell me the figures using tankful method and not the figures from the MID.

There is a lot of work done on my car for left pulling issue like wheel alignment more than 10 times and changing knuckles, absorbers and finally rack at Service centre but nothing is helpful. Escalated to ford but they are keeping quiet.
Currently I am looking for exchange my car with Maruthi Brezza/Ertiga but the resale value came with big shock (4lac only for 2015 titanium diesel ,ODO at 15000kms) after the valuation.

Now I am confused[sleep] and [frustration].

I think you should move with Brezza or Honda jazz, resale is a something only Maruti and Toyota have in India, rest all have pretty low resale value in India, there is nothing we can do about it.

Hi, the video that I mentioned in my earlier post also describes the exact same situation. All these are persuading me to go for the Tiago. And as Rumbutan and Allhyundaicars mentioned, I hope Tiago is better vfm than the petrol Figo.

@Madann4u, I prefer buying a petrol vehicle since my average daily driving distance would be less than 15km and occasional 200km trips to my hometown Ernakulam from here in Trivandrum.
