Awesome pics there 350Z.
I guess this new fiesta will hold 3 person easily in rear seat.
Loved the display in central console. Does it show anything other than date and time. [;)]

The design although stunning but missing typical Ford machoness. I mean uttering ford always portray "mustang" kind of image back of your mind.

Interior is seriously class ahead [thumbsup], I am completely bowled over.

Re: All New Ford Fiesta Sedan (Brochure & Details Pg.8)

The one reason is the price factor factor.

If the price the hatch lower, the sales of the fiesta classic disappear.
Yes, I feel so. But Ford should introduce the 5 Door ASAP with good pricing.

Great pictures 350Z. The new Fiesta's front end and side profile are stunning! The rear end though looks bland, will pass on. Equally special are the interiors but it looks very plastick-y from the pictures.

Can you give your personal opinion on how the interiors felt when you touch and feel them? ANy markers on the price range anf start of sales?

TiVCT is like Ford's version of Variable Valve Timing.

@350Z -First great scoop, now with pictures of the event and also of the car - What more one can ask? Thank you for you efforts.
Great pictures and coverage 350Z.
Anyways good coverage 350Z and it was real fast too!
Awesome pics there 350Z.
Hey, Thanks for the cheer up everyone.

Now coming back to topic what petrol engines on offer? Could you shed some light on it?
The 1.5 TiVCT Petrol Engine is on offer.

I heard rumours floating around that the car does not have climate control but you mentioned the voice activated system adjusts temperature when you command it - could you shed some more light on it?
I doubt if those rumors are true, because we can see the Auto A/C button on the lower end of center console. Refer sixth photograph in Post #126.

Yes.

The overall plastic quality is all right, but some bits like gearbox console are cheap to look at. Please check out the Post #123 for detailed first impressions and other information on pricing / deliveries etc.

By the way, those who are interested to catch the New Fiesta live can just walk into The Select City Walk (Central Atrium), Saket. Because the car will be showcased there for next three months. Ford calls this area as "Fiesta Cafe", which is equipped with sonic chairs and screens so that one can learn basic information about the New Fiesta.

So the new Fiesta is having follow me home headlamps too! I think the new Fiesta is going to create a new benchmark for this segment!

Add to that the automatically folding ORVMs. I noticed them performing live when Ford people locked the car through remote. And believe it or not, some people were actually left stunned watching the ORVMs folding inside automatically.

Wow i personally like the automatic folding ORVM'S very much , a great show-off feature![thumbswink]

With all these goodies if they can manage to price the top-end diesel model on road to around 10-10.5Lakhs they surely have a winner in their hands.

Definitely. At any cost, it must be lower than Honda City.

What are follow me home headlamps? I have heard of this feature in cars now. Anyone know??
The ‘follow me home’ headlamps are rather a common feature in the modern cars (Not particularly in context to India). Basically, their idea is to illuminate the path to your home, so that you can easily find the keys of your house or garage. The time limit until the headlamps remain lit can be adjusted.
