95,000/- look like the new Pulsar 200 NS is on higher side.Hope it does not effect its sales.

This price is normal for Bangalore as the tax rates are the highest among other cities in India, The sales would be in decent numbers for the "Pulsar" Tag

I don't know dude, got this info from my friend, maybe 10k would be the booking amount it seems and another news is the TD vehicles will hit the showrooms from April.

Now, the news is that the man recently resigned from his position at Bajaj and is now headed to BMW Motorrad to become the head of BMW group motorcycle design studio. This will be Heinrich’s second stint at the German motorcycle manufacturer. The designer’s career had commenced at BMW in 1986 and he had joined Bajaj only in 2009.Heinrich will take over the reins from David Robb on July 1. Back at BMW, Heinrich has won a lot of popularity for the design of R 1100 RS, RT, K1200, R 1150GS and R1200 GS. Other than this, he also has a hand in the designing of some of the famous Paris-Dakar bikes. Bajaj will slowly phasing out its present generation Pulsar model after its starts selling Pulsar 200 NS.Models include 150,180 and 220.Bajaj will launch new Pulsar 150 in the second half of 2012 and after sales of 200 NS starts it will phase out 180 and 220 models from the market.

Bajaj is set to make some minor changes to the Pulsar 200 NS before it hit the road.The front headlight is to get a 55 watt bulb instead of 35 watt as seen in the prototype.Changes also to be done in the instrumental cluster for a better visibility and the rear mudguard which will now have a matte black treatment.Tyre options between MRF and TVS is expected and it could give the customer to decide.

Another development is that the Bajaj Auto has discontinued its 220 S model from the market due to low sales volume.

Bajaj has started training the dealer on Pulsar 200 NS at their plant.Training about the product as well as the service part also.Pulsar 200 NS is expected to be launched in the last week of May.
