Yeah, I got it today from an accessory shop. Not brand specific, its locally made. But not that bad, looks good & good finish too. It costs 6500 but got it installed for 6000. Will post pics soon!
I haven't gone there after my car's service. But, I believe, the service might have been started. Btw, Why do you want to go there? I can get the number if you want. [:)]

One of best quality seat cover manufacturer -

Autoformindia

They supply seat covers to most of the trusted brands including the Volkswagon. I
personally saw their collection. However the bad part is they won't sell online. For those who lives in the NCR region can buy directly from their Noida office.

I am planning next month and will post the pics.

I have checked out some autoform products but seemed to be a bit high for my budget. Anyways, I have got one now & thanks for the words.

Guys, found out how to activate & deactivate the temperature reading/distance to empty reading in the MID. It may sound really stupid but this is how it works. Don't know if there is any another way but the dealer told me to do this to change it & it worked. [:)]
If you want to change the distance to empty meter to temperature reading, then open up your car's bonnet & then remove the battery terminals. It resets the MID & shows the temperature reading (I guess it resets as a whole including service interval meter too).
And if you want the distance to empty meter back, then just go on driving without filling any fuel. Once the car's fuel meter reaches near to the empty mark. It will automatically start showing the distance to empty meter.

I know it sounds really stupid, but this is how it works! [;)]

Jihu, you have a great looking car there. There is lots of modding potential here. Get a GTi kit with borbet or lensos in 17" and it will rock the roads. :P but on a serious note, she is really a stunner. kudos to you for maintaining it.

I think the distance to empty feature is more useful than the temperature display, so one should not try the removal of battery thing. And also, why to tamper with service interval meter? I think service interval is an important reminder and should be accurate.
Distance to empty will into display when 50 kms can be driven with remaining fuel, so one can easily find a petrol pump within this 50km limit.

Thanks a lot. I know its gonna look mindblowing! I even fantasize often about my car with 17" Wheels. Woh, it feels so good at that time! :stupid: But can't expect to do anything unless I get my job! I am still waiting to get my license (1.5yrs left). So giving it some mods is a long way ahead. By that time I will be thinking of getting my own vehicle! [evil]
And about maintaining, I am the only one who washes the car from my house. I would like to keep it in perfect condition with wax, coating etc but my elder brothers just spoil it! [anger] Now there are few scratches here and there but the paint is still looking new!

True. That is the reason why I made the car drive till its fuel gauge reaches near its empty point!

Yeah, but mine started showing from 60kms onwards. Just after starting the car it changed to the distance meter.

Yes. Keep driving in the city until you see the distance to empty indicator with chime/bell.
Keep a look at fuel indicator curve, if one last block is left and still distance to empty is not displayed, it means something is wrong with display and get a refill as soon as possible.

Then in that case my MID has the option to display the temp without any modification. I am having Comfortline. May be in the current variant they have introduced this feature.

Is is possible to view both distance to empty and outside temperature in Highline model? I like to have both these features simultaneously.
