Nice and short review!

How did you find the turbo lag,I mean tackling it.

Regarding the slope,I was under the impression that latest diesel car can comfortably climb a hill due to the massive torque at low rpms(experience from our swift DDiS).

Thanks. You are getting 18km/l average [surprise]? I get around 18-19 in highways & 13-15 in cities. Getting an average about 15-16 (not sure though). I travel much less in 5th gear.
In places like Kannur (kerala), there's no use of 5th gear unless you are in a good highway with 2 tracks. [lol]

Thanks. Well, to tackle the turbo lag, we need to press the accelerator a little deeper.

Regarding the slope,I was under the impression that latest diesel car can comfortably climb a hill due to the massive torque at low rpms(experience from our swift DDiS).
hmm, this was a bit steep one & was completely at halt when I tried to climb up the hill from the halfway. It was while coming out from a parking lot of Bangalore (Mantri Square). Regarding the swift, I think it too has the turbo lag. From my view of point, many of the cars in the segment of polo have the turbo lag.
Even if there is massive torque, polo requires atleast 2000rpm to unleash the power. [;)]

Hey nice review. Although I'm a little late but congrats on your new polo. Looks stunning in white. How much did they charge you for painting the door handles and rear view mirrors?

@GM88 - Oh, thanks. Ermm, I really don't remember the price. It's probably 2 or 4k. Not sure though. Let me ask my dad. I hope he remembers & I will get back here. [:)]
