I didn't notice your Car registration number (6).

I too was having number 6 for my Hyundai Accent GLS 1.6 (When I was in Chennai in 2004 - TN22 AH 0006). That time I paid Rs.25,000 to get this fancy number.

What is the rate now-a-days for this single number??

My car and bike don't have any fancy numbers. They are the result of my photo-editing using MS Paint to mask the actual numbers.

This is excellent information sir, thanks but I would still suggest to keep a copy in the car, as most lawkeeper's especially up north, wouldn't be aware (couldn't care less) to make a fast buck.

Regarding Cost Cutting,
Yes, this is really a bad stuff. When I took my Tata Zest XMS Qjet, They had a couple of cost cuttings like,
1. They have replaced 90 PS engine with 75 PS engine.
2. They have removed Alloy Wheels
3. They have removed Adjustable Headrest from Back seats
4. They have removed the bottle tray under the co-driver seat.

Mahatma Gandhiji says, Customers are ultimate and they need to be satisfied every single time. Else business won't grow.

Tata really has to address this issue, else they will be like this even after 20 years even with better products.

During the first service on 27 July 2018 at TAFE Access, I requested the SA to get rid of the markings on the ORVM brackets, while washing. But, he argued it won't go as they were permanent. But, today, I got rid of those markings after spending about half-hour!

This is an outrageous reply from the SA, there shouldn't be any kind of markings on car when they give to the Customer. Not even the dealer advertisement on the back of your car. I am glad the marking have left, no new cars will get written over like that

The rear windshield had the sticker bearing the name of the dealer, which was removed by me the next day after delivery. I used my finger nails to peel off the sticker alphabet by alphabet. It came out easily without any traces left behind. During the delivery of my ex-XUV 500, I had instructed the dealer staff not to paste any sticker anywhere. They obeyed. This time, I forgot to tell them and I had it!

Cleaned, washed and waxed Blue Di over 3 sessions each of 2 hours, getting rid of the muck gathered during Chennai - Bangalore drive. Now, Blue Diamond glitters brilliantly! I find the tasks less strenuous, much easier and quicker than that of my ex-XUV 500.

Usually, I take my miniature Linea only on the highways during my mega drives.

Playing Songs Through Bluetooth & USB Drive Tested!

Today, I played my favourite songs through Bluetooth and USB drive back-to-back. I found that the audio quality of same the songs played from USB drive is better than that of Bluetooth. Searching for a particular song/artiste/album is easier in Bluetooth through the phone than the USB drive through Tata Smart Remote app. I selected the songs through voice command, which worked flawlessly. The audio testing will continue tomorrow too!

Blue Di Gets Rear Cabin Light!

Here are my initial dislikes :

• There is no cabin light for the rear passengers. Another instance of unjustified cost-cutting. Not at all comfortable...

Today, I received the magnetic cabin light from Ali Express, costing me US$ 9.04 [₹ 670.40], ordered through my mobile phone on 2 Sep 2018. Now, the passengers on the rear seat can have the comfort of light in case of a need.



There are some more goodies I have ordered from amazon.com and revzilla.com - for Blue Di and Blue Bird - that are in the USA now. I will be getting them shortly.
