Congrats Ravi sir,

I used to read lot of your vehicle in other forum , esp the purple cheetah.

Hows the nexon keeping you happy..
I guess the nexon will keep you happy and the TASS wont mood off since you are almost with same mentality of mine LOL.
If they dont honour the warranty , pay them and forget type!

Hows the AMT performance?

I had good experience with Concorde Motors, Mysore Road, Bangalore during my Linea ownership.

Hows the AMT performance?
Now, I wonder, why I did not buy AT in my earlier car! [:)] I feel less stressed both in the city driving as well as on the highways. Except for some unwanted, unexpected jerks sometimes, I am fully satisfied with AMT. Good mileage too.

Chennai>Bangalore . 362 km . 20.5 kmpl

B. Diamond brought us to our Bangalore home on 30 Nov 2018; left Chennai Royapettah home at 6:45 pm on 29/11, dined at Sai Sangeet near Walaja toll plaza for 45 minutes and reached Bangalore Basaveswara Nagar home at 2:06 am on 30/11. It rained in Krishnagiri and surroundings.

Paytm FASTag behaved flawlessly in all toll plazas. There was a big queue at Attibele toll plaza at all the lanes, but we passed through the exclusive lane without waiting. Here are the timings:

In the last couple of days, I washed and used the recently acquired detailing products from the US and now, B Diamond glitters brilliantly. [:D]

I observed that if I try to reverse or drive forward, keeping the door open, the creep function does not set in and B Diamond stands still. When I accelerate, it slowly moves. Only if the door is closed, the creep function sets in - another good safety feature. [clap]

Bangalore>Chennai>Bangalore

Dashed to Chennai and back on a tankful of diesel. Reached Chennai home at 5 am on 19/12/2018; attended to works on that day; B Diamond visited Tafe Access, Greams Road, Chennai on 20/12/2018 for the second free service; got the infotainment software updated and the much-needed water-wash; returned to Bangalore at 6 am today. Managed to extract 734 km out of 40 litres of diesel, resulting in 18.35 kmpl on tankful-to-tankful. [clap]My erstwhile XUV 500 used to do Bangalore>Pune [850 km] and Naggar>Leh in one tankful! [:D]

Bangalore>Chennai>Bangalore

Did another Bangalore>Chennai>Bangalore drive with a tankful of diesel, this time, fully in eco mode including 20 km run in Chennai peak hour bumper-to-bumper traffic in city mode. Drove 753 km that consumed 35.86 litres of diesel costing ₹ 64.15/litre in Bangalore today, translating into 21 kmpl tankful-to-tankful.

And 1027 Kms in 3 days, which mean you covered a good amount of distance in 3 days - is the full distance covered by solo driving or you have anyone else to help?

We went in two cars. My son drove his i20 Active and I drove mine for the entire drive. Thanks.

Today, both me and Blue Diamond had a busy day. It all started with the visit to the neighbourhood HP COCOO, where Blue Di had a tankful. After returning home, I noticed a bit of oil leakage below the engine. The oil level too was a bit less. Then, I contacted Concorde Motors, Mysore Road - the place I used to frequent during my Linea ownership - where I was advised not to drive the car, but to avail of RSA. Then, I contacted Tata Motors RSA, where after listening to the details, I was advised the same again. Since the oil leak was a very minor one, I preferred driving to the service station on my own. But, they made me accept transporting Blue Di with zero cost to me since it would be risky. So, I accepted their advice. After an hour or so, the tow truck arrived. I travelled in the cabin along with Blue Di loaded on the deck. All along the 11 km route, people watched us. Some mothers pointed at Blue Di and told their children, 'see the car travelling on a truck!'.

Finally, it turned out to be the loose oil filter, which was tightened. Oil was topped up too. The work was over within half hour and I was back home in the evening. I am thankful for the timely help from Tata Motors RSA.
