23kmpl would be in ideal testing conditions and not in the real world with the kind of traffic we have on our Indian roads. But from my experiences with my Polo Tdi for the last 5months, i am getting close to 19-20kmpl with 50% city and 50% highway driving which IMO are pretty decent figures.

22 kmpl are the official figures for polo tdi as far as I remember. Those ideal conditions are very hard to obtain in real scenario, even then once in a while you may take the car to highways and drive sedately at constant speeds, I am sure you will get 22 kmpl approx.
In my petrol polo too, I have seen FE around 16-1Z on highways or open roads but in daily traffic they are hard to attain.

yes i am njoing the drive in mornig way to office i drive it crazlly around 80 to 100 kmph with sudden brakes and signals..
but hoping that fe increases atleast 16 which i thaught off while opting for polo..

Sometimes for sake of fuel efficiency, I think about going gentle and drive peacefully even on highways, but as soon as some smart chap tries to overtake me, I cannot resist the temptation to give him a piece of polo's racing capabilities. I normally go crazy on highways and do all kind of zig-zag there. Its too much of fun and excitement to push her more and more.

i have got minda installed from outside.
it cisted me 35oo
it has reverse beep and player theft alarm.
only bad thing is its beep for locking cant be silent.
during unlocking it has a button to opt for silent mode but same is not the case while locking.
no trouble till date.

my drive is omly at city so i have not considered but yes read few reviews where this topic has been discussed
no there was no problem in instalation. actualy i got player, components, amps, woffer, sun film and lock got installed from same shop in a day.
Further akash my lock is seperate from key not like as was there in pic.
