My Own First Car – Volkswagen Polo

I was shifted back to Nagpur from Mumbai after one and half year of job there.
Its really challenging to live in the busy life there.
And as I returned there was a big question which car to go for?
I limited my options to:
POLO - My Mind call
Micra - My Heart call
Swift - Parents call

Finally went with my Mind and booked Red POLO TDI.

Its 10 dayz I have been driving the car and definately power full engine and comfort.
It has given me 13 average in 100% city driving and with AC.

Installed following:
HU - Sony 63
Front rear - JBL 609C
AMP - JBL GTX 696 (if not mistaken)
SUb - JBL 1215
(All thanks to diehardi20 and freakdude)
Garware sun films
Minda Central lock.

Congrats for ur polo dude. pics are little bit shaky. While installing the amp and sub. woofer did they had any wire cut. And in your case of installing amp and woofer will void any warranty ?
Waiting for initial review and loads of pics.

no i have tlod the dealer and the person working in my car not even to splice any wire.
But during installation i was not there since it took around 8 hrs to get all those fitted.
Yup there is one prob as tutor of rear components has been installed near seat belt it has stoped working.
Will be going to dealer for that as i get time but definately till sunday.

till now i have drived around 550 kms and i have got average of 13.2 @ 100% AC and city (Just a 60 kms of highway)
Hope the same increases as VW said me 17-18 in city.

The only way to check is remove the whole head unit( along with the back ) and you will see a coupler attached. If there is no coupler attached and the head unit is attached to the wiring via black tape understand the warranty is void.

congratulations buddy for this german beauty. average will increase as you will drive it more and more. VW cars are made to be driven. enjoy your ride.

@ diehardi20 - thanks for the info. can u tell what is the cost of coupler and how does it looks. i forgot to ask this earlier coz i would have personally seen that he attaches through coupler.

Congrats for the polo Kush. I own the same red color and I am sure you would love it each day.

As mentioned by diehardi20, please see whther any wires are tampered with. Also ask the installation guy if any wires were cut.

yup i have asked the dealer and installation guy he said "Tension mat lo hame pata hai"
but i am a bit worried.
have you upgraded or installed any thing after market.
