HI amiti
i booked my gd sp going to get it on apr 11,Any suggestions before taking it????
None, just check the engine noise. It should not be noisy. If it is too noisy, then ask the SE to reset the ECU. Other than that, if you are going in for fog lamps, get it from the dealer. Those are perfect fit, a bit low on light though.

Also any modifications you have planned?

This week end I will come up with the pictures.

Hi,

First, congrats on new vehicle!
I booked my Toyota Liva GD SP new model and expecting delivery on 10-April. I have chosen the new Grey colour. Even my current Figo is sea grey colour.

I could TD only the old vehicle, but I am totally love the riding big difference. Had TD Verito, Sail-sedan, Vista, Fabia. Yes, NVH was high in liva, was told it is well addressed in the new one. Since I was going for company lease, i have to wait to complete all formalities. Just can't wait to take the wheel.

I am not going for any showroom accessories...initially thought about front chrome (Rs 6200 + Rs 2800) but that would be too bling!!!

Planning to
> 3M underchassing coating (was quoted Rs 2700/- at the dealer; but in 3M outlet it is Rs 3500/-) let me check whats the difference
> 3M RE 35 sunfilm: it is mirror reflective but thats not too glaring of sunfilms presence as others...so far avoided being stopped by cops in my figo. again it suits the grey body colour
> Autoform - ART leathers: any day. For my Figo I got it for Rs 8500/- skin fit. I paid Rs 5200/- for my Santro drop-on. Not sure if Autoform seat covers are available for new variant with detachable headrest..if not, I hope they can retro skin fit others
> PVC floor mat: I did for Rs 1750/- recently for my Figo would be on similar lines.

> Not going for fog lamps
> I see the tyre size is small. In the showroom, i saw it shipped with Bridgestone tyres. if it is goodyear, I want to change it. pls can you suggest tyre size

Thanks.

Regards, Vj

Is the audio support bluetooth?

Congrats for your new ride buddy, i like the way you described everything and the way you narrated your buying experience. I also like that you liked punto but didn't bought it due ass in your area. You took a wise decision.

For seat covers i have a suggestion for you, see and decide. BTW they should cost you ~5 grand including installation, they are custom made good quality covers.

I love the way you are enthusiastic about your ride, loved the pics as well. She looks awesome.

Congrats for your liva Amiti, the car looks great indeed and the interiors are now of acceptable quality and by looking the pictures of NVH deadening they have done a great job(but yet to see the desired results from your end),

Have a happy and safe motoring with your liva.

The seats look good. Can you let me know the brand and where can I get those?

Amiti, many congratulations for your Liva. I went through the complete thread and while reading it, I was wondering what made you buy this car knowing the fact that this Toyota has earned not so good reputation during the early days of its launch.

It was then, when I struck upon the D4D engine pic. Now thats the real gem and a reliable mill which has already proven itself in the Innova. And with revised interiors, Liva has further graduated to a bit posh territory. Many congrats once again. Wish you lacs of happy miles[cheers].

EDIT: Dont you think 16k is a big amount you spent on sunfilms knowing the fact that they are banned? Hope the Pune cops are allowing those films.
