Gave my beast for first service.

Following issues been reported to the FAMOUS TASS
1. Door knob tending to slip while opening
2. Loose connection in internal front illumination light
3.Music Player unable to mate with mobile phones and play songs.
4. The rear door knob seems to be tight
5. Minor scratches done by my watchman during daily washing.

The driver came to my home picked up the vehicle. The Service agent called me in 30 min. (almost as soon as the vehicle reach the service center) Noted down all the issues and have mentioned that the vehicle would be delivered by EOD today.

Lets see how it all goes.

Fingers crossed.

Also did a (crude) fuel efficiency calculation and it turns out to be around 9.5 KMPL. I have mostly driven in Bumper to Bumper traffic on hyd roads.

Ok, so I have experienced the Tata motors ASS.

Following issues been reported to the FAMOUS TASS
1. Door knob tending to slip while opening
Issue not yet resolved.

2. Loose connection in internal front illumination light
Issue not yet resolved

3.Music Player unable to mate with mobile phones and play songs.
Issue not yet resolved

4. The rear door knob seems to be tight
Issue Resolved

5. Minor scratches done by my watchman during daily washing.
Issue Resolved, partly. I still can see very faint lines.

6. Noise in clutch while pressing
Issue Resolved.

Over all cleanliness of the vehicle post service Rating 7/10

For all the open issues, TASS Would be sending the technician to my place so that I can sit with him and get them resolved.

My Rating for the over all experience

Does alpine ICU has problem for any mobile for music or it is specific to a brand or OS

Hi RK,

It was SanathNagar TASS.
I guess the one in my vehicle still has issues with Andriod, Blackberry, Nokia. It plays well with even 16GB Pendrive, but not phone setup as a storage device. I have have not tested the 500GB HDD I have. the Sony explode music system I ahd in my WagonR use to play songs from my 500GB HDD as well.

As discussed earlier Once try with Tejaswi motors next time, we send our Vista regularly and found the service good

Great snaps, looks great. I am Currently in Pune and doing 5K (5800 kms)servicing at Concorde Baner Road. I am also checking out for fog lamps for LX version. Lets see if they can fit. Sitting in service center with Tata WIFI

Will post service details tomorrow.

Thanks Raja, regarding the journey,

1. journey was majorly on a well tar road where the ride and handling I felt was top notch. Max speed tocuhed was 100 kmph. Effort lessly reached 100.

2. Brakes and responsiveness of the steering was also great.

3. the last part of the journey was kind of off-raoding thru grasslands. (about 2 KM )
there were good amount of ups and downs, it rode over, stones and small rocks pieces (around 6 inch diameter very effortlessly.) finally stopped when the ground got soft and mushy.

Over all, happy with the ride. the height, and CG, and the engine power was inspiring.

Now i would plan more off roading trips.

let me know if you had to change the switch for the fog lamps? Also can you check if you could fix the clock on the dashboard.

I am new to the Storme territory and it was Tornado who told me about you.
I guess you are in Pune now and currently at Concorde Pune...let me know how was your dealership experience and also provide me some inputs of how your storme is doing.Would surely like to know the dealership experience as i intend to buy the strome in a few months.Thanks!

I just observed yesterday that when i press and release the clutch, I hear a clicking kind of sound from the engine bay. Not heard when windows are closed. Only when I roll down the windows, I engine is running, I can hear that sound. its more than "click" much like "Tuk" coming from the engine bay.

I have not observed any change in pickup or anything as yet, but just concerned if this sound is expected or not.

It should be the clutch operation. It usually happens when you release the clutch, if I am right.
