Today I went to the hyundai showroom to look for the finance options for grand crdi asta.

OTR here in nagpur is 757,528/-
I am taking a loan for 550,000/- and HDFC gave me a quote of:
17,940 for 3 yrs or 11,960 for 5 yrs.
processing fee 4850 (but the hdfc agent said he will give a 50% discount on this amount)
stamp duty 0.3% of loan amount + 100/-
Here with HDFC I have to pay EMI for 2 yrs after which if I want to foreclose there will be an extra 3% on the remaining principal amount.

I also went to Shriram Urban Co-op Bank where I have my CC account and they said for 550,000 loan amount the EMI for 7 yrs will come around 8900/-.
Here I have to pay the EMI for 6 months after which if I want to close the loan account there won`t be any foreclosure charges.

So which one is the best loan out of these two? Given that I might close the loan after a year.

Coming to the colour I am leaning towards Wine Red but will consult with my Mom & Dad before making any decision.
Although it is OT, but I suggest go for SBI they have no penalty for part payment and no processing fee or very minimal processing fee.I had opted for SBI for 7.5 Lakhs of loan for 3 years having EMI as 24100. They will open a saving account also and you can link the both loan account and saving account and can operate through internet banking. It will be very easy to make part payment using online transfer and you do not need to visit branch. Whenever I have saving at the end of month I transfer the money to loan account hence we can save a lot on interest.

I guess this is common feature in among all the modern cars. Even in my Ertiga ZDI it has.

Background and Buying Overview
Hyundai Motors is not a reliable and trustworthy automobile company. They have been penalised for their false claims of mileage. They claim that the mileage of their cars is higher than it actually is.

Please don't trust a brand which is just trying to fool its customers.

That is neat feature man. I do this mistake often (vehicle will not move) then I will realize that hand brake is engaged. Then I will remove it and try to start the car.

Fantastic feature. BTW, do you get beep sound or what kind of audible warning?

Yes a beep warning,
does moving your car while parking brake is on causes major damage? I mean if one happens to do so will the reliability of the parking brake reduce?

Actually I used to do this mistake very often in my M800 days (My First Car). When I checked with MASS Guys, they said clutch would get worn-out soon if we do this often (once I have driven for more than a KM, when hand brake was was half way thru)

Now one, I make sure I apply the hand break tightly, so that it will not even allow me to move when hand brake is engaged. So the occurrence of this mistake is greatly reduced, I would say more or less Zeroed.

Yes,oil change is every 10,000 km or 1 year. He just topped up the oil, which i think was not required
I too had first service and I wanted an oil change. But the Hyundai manager
Said its not at all needed.
Should I have changed? As many say its good to get the oil changed after
Engine break in period.

Don't worry mate, its safe to change oil at 10000 km. Also i have read we shouldnt go for early oil change/use synthetic oil during break in period
