re: My Modified Maruti 800.

All you need is a signal from the ecu.If your ecu can send a signal to the tach it will work just fine. The astar tachometer comes with a 3 pin connector which should plug into your harness.I had to make some mods to connect it to my carb 800.Check you wiring harness to make sure there is an empty plug where a tachometer can be fixed.Even though manufacturers don't include tachometers and other stuff to keep costs low, the provisions are always there on newer cars.So check your wiring.

Forgot to answer this part of your question. The stock rear coil spring suspension comes with 1 inch spacer from maruti(rubber pads).I have increased it further by an inch.So the difference isnt that great.I think Rao66 has a similar spacer in the rear of his 800.Although made of aluminium which is what I am looking for as well.
Hi,
Aluminium spacers are available for Maruti Zen. It can be used in Maruti 800 also. I have purchased 4 pieces. Ride will be little bumpy at the back. But full load car behaves extremely well.
Regards

Here is an update.. got an strut brace for my car !![;)]

re: My Modified Maruti 800.

Excellent work with your 800. I too own a 2008 UNIQ edition. Was trying to replace this with a pre-owned swift. Then thought why not to increase the performance and aesthetics of my well maintained car. Was searching for some threads. You have done some extensive research DIY with your car .. literally worshipped! I have taken a decision not to give my car. Will take suggestions from you and upgrade my car to my preferences. Will get in touch with you after prioritising my upgrade options. Thanks.

re: My Modified Maruti 800.

Its suitable for alto?., and what are the benefits fixing strut bar on car
Each car will have its own measurement.. I guess the same one in mine wont fit in alto..
At high speeds turning will be stable and cornering will be better.
It also provides stiffness to the chassis..

+1 on that,Can we fit the same to any car
[confused]
Yes you can fit it in any car which has mc pherson suspension...
Sorry If I am wrong.

Hi, Varun.[clap]
Can you access the brake fluid container cap without any problem? Please clarify.
Yes I can access the brake fluid container easily, only one relay on the left corner will have to be moved..
