re: My Modified Maruti 800.

The mesh grill looks awesome varun. You have really great skills. Upgrade to new m800 clear headlamps as 350z has done. Will surely look nice.
Keep the grill black. You can remove the old suzuki badge and add the new suzuki badge at extreme right/left. And, dont forget to add Leds.

cheers

Waiting for more pics.
Any other thing planned?

I also had an M800 in white which served me for 1.4L kms in totally stock condition except small essentials.
800 ROCKS.

Varun, what about that covering for the spark plug area? In my car, there is a metail plate behind the grill, in your car the holes are closed (the old company grill). I think finding a good solution should be on priority, because rain / splash of water can do quite some damage. Correct me if I am wrong.

All the 800 with extreme mods I know personally of are carb ones.If I find out anything about how to go about fixing your problem without touching the ecu I'll let you know.

Where did you get your FFE done?Aren't those guys supposed to be tuners? Why don't you contact them?Maybe they can have a solution to your problem.New oxygen sensors sure are expensive, try swapping from a car which is completely stock and has been returning good fuel averages.A new sensor would set you back appx 6.5k

re: My Modified Maruti 800.

I have a 1997 carb 800, it has a type II coil spring rear instead of a leaf spring setup.Have an MPI kit which is not the same as MPFI.MPI is multi point ignition which burn the fuel much better and give better averages and great pickup.Brake booster so the car stops are fast as it goes.Have a strut brace fitted at the front. The rear height is increased with spacers since I run 145/80 12's which give more average.I am looking for rear aluminium spacers and front fog lights to prepare for the rains.Have tried to keep the car looking stock no fancy mods.Plain jane

re: My Modified Maruti 800.

Next in line in the mods will be a complete engine overhaul with porting and polishing will add a FFE along with that.If your car has crossed 50K KMS without an engine overhaul atleast get the engine/gearbox and radiator flushed thoroughly and add new oil during your next service or fluid change

As you have installed on spacers at rear doesn't it make a bumpy ride and your car would be tilted towards the ground in the front..

Great, I guess I have done all most what you have.. is your alternator sufficient for powering the headlamps and fog lamps, as I have upgraded to swift's alternator..

Got the radiator flushed too.. what is strut brace, please post a pic.
