re: My Modified Maruti 800.

Good one Varun, Please start a fresh DIY thread, upload as many pics as possible.
I am glued to this thread now. I am eager to see how you remove / fit inside the door pad area. Any idea how much does only front two power windows cost?

Hmmmm dont worry, minor setbacks are always there for DIY'ers. But may be you will come up with a bigger idea for door damping?

I had already painted black but it won't look good, from far it looks like as if there is no grill..

OT : My 1000th post [evil]
Good looking car dude. How about getting the bumpers painted to body colour? I did it on my Silky Silver M800 during my college days and that looks cool. (sorry, I don't have the snaps now)

Re: My Modified Maruti 800.

Me too planning to get it done, a local painter told I have to get new bumpers before I get it painted because it has many scratches..He tells paint would be peeling off..

So is it true ? Please suggest..

Re: My Modified Maruti 800.

you can actually do the pre treatment of painting that is rubbing with sand paper, primer and base coats. then i guess there wont be any peal offs. do post pics after painting. and leave the rear number plate area black while painting. and why wont you remove the black grill on the tail lamps?

Hi, Never paint black bumpers in to body color. Here painters say that the paint will peel off after some time. According to me black bumpers is always best.
