Hi, Varun, After posting my car's pictures now, ( taken at "Mullayyanagiri") I just amazed to know that you also visited "Mullayanagiri". I have been there yesterday. But visibility was so poor.

Mullayanagiri is the highest peak in Karnataka, and if you say the visibility was poor, then that is the typical weather there for which people from all over the places come visit it, when we visited the the peak it was sunny but temperature was cool.

Got the Engine oil and filter replaced for free again. Also they remapped the ECU with new firmware.

All enjoy owners please get it done. As per the database which I saw yesterday out of 17800 Enjoy's only 2300 + have got this campaign (recall) job done.
Who all have not availed the 1st campaign can also get the airfilter replaced with this.

Hi Varun,

As posted earlier, I have a diesel Enjoy (LTZ). I have not yet given it for second free service since a dent was caused on the body side while parking.

I called up the dealer last week and asked him specifically about the recall. He denied getting any information about the recall and did not mention any free engine oil and air filter replacement either.

How else can I verify if my Enjoy is part of the recall? I bought it in August last year. Will contacting the Chevrolet Enjoy factory in India directly help?

It has been some time since I have updated the thread. Car is just doing fine and running has become very less (-500 kms this month) [frustration]. Odo is at 14700 kms.

I had some squeaking noise from the front suspension and steering rod that was solved by the Service center after trial and error for 2 days.
Also new firmware updated, which has taken away the sportiness from the car. It has become slow.

Now its time for mods !! Tried Race Dynamics Tuning box of swift/ Ertiga but there was not much improvement. So just got the a trial re-map !
Yes Re-Maping soon ! Car is torqueeeee just after the trial map. Waiting for the proper map..[;)]

Completed 15k milestone finally ! 10 months I have enjoyed every drive.

The only worst part is to remove the spare wheel I had to remove it for antirust coating (DIY), I had to sleep on the floor to put back the wheel in place. Its very difficult if you have to do this on road. [frustration]

Yes, I hate spare wheel position in Ertiga, Innova Enjoy etc. They should have made some space inside.

Thanks for the detailed user review that you were posting online. I was closely following this thread since I am a prospective buyer of an Enjoy. Your thread helped me a lot to arrive at a decision. By the way, why did you have to re-map the engine?

He is doing re-map to churn out more power out of the MJD, however the original map of the car is good for an average user.

Varun, waiting for the stats of your car's performance after re-map, let us know how much power is the engine producing.
