Hi,
My alto is experiencing lack of power while going uphill. And a huge reduction in power while using a/c. Any DIY tips?

Its a common thing with all alto's.[lol] Turn off A/C when going uphill or run on low gear and high rpm to maintain some power.[:)]

EDIT: Also make sure your air filter is clean, A clogged air filter will affect the performance drastically.

hi Aneesh[:)]. Those speakers you chose looks very nice and powerful . Even to get 50% of their power you need to install a good Amplifier. Are you planning to add one ? Best of luck.

So thats why am not getting much bass when i connected it to my Pioneer Head unit. Already bought a Sony XMN-502, CEA Rated at 65W x 2 for the speakers.[;)]

EDIT: Wiring kit is still pending, need to get one soon.[:)] Adding some more pics of the completed DIY. Special thanks to my dad for the welding jobs.[:D]

made a small L shaped wooden panel to protect amp from rear passengers.

nice bro, Now this is what you can say an upgrade of your ICE system. I will suggest you to get the setup installed by a professional only to avoid any mistake and to get a problem free experience in future. Enjoy.
