This is the perfect city car. Some safety paranoids might not like the small frame and lack of safety features, but for the aam junta nothing comes close to this. I drive the Alto 800 to work in mind-numbing traffic, and I can safely say that (with AC turned off), the pick-up is nothing less than one segment higher cars. There's more than enough power than you need (if alone, no passenger) in the 20 kmph to 50 kmph range. The sprint to 50 kmph from stopping at a red light, plus the toy-car type feel in turning around corners, are some of the high points at this price range. But with AC turned on performance takes a nose dive. Many times in high summer I have had to turn off the AC for pick-up before the impatient drivers behind me started honking, even though I leave the fast lane free for them!

Good update bro. The wheels looks cool; black and white combo is a good thing for everybody's vision. Making the black roof would finish the mod, while I guess there are restrictions from the govt. from modifying it.

What other mods have you planned in the future?

Yeah,Also he suggested me to repaint the whole car with a single coat of paint as its more than 6 years old.May be later[roll]

Actually had plans for alloys but unexpected expenses lead to this. May be a good Subwoofer,Also front and back Shock absorbers are weak and needs replacement soon.[roll] Costs around 6k for all Shocks.

Hey Aneesh. The car looks really in great shape, except for the basic maintenance costs.

Why don't you consider a small vinyl on the headlights, covering the upper 15% of the headlight joining the line between bonnet & fender and bonnet & bumper, to give it a more aggresive look (similar to SX4's headlight). You can keep the vinly white, same as your car's colour. It will look great. I remember a guy had fitted old gen Alto's bumper in his new Alto (same as yours) and achieved that aggressive look as the old gen Alto's bumper was longer. He had an orange coloured Alto with scissor doors and was from Pakistan I think.

i have seen it on facebook,Will do it later. [:)]

Went to Workshop and got the shocks and struts replaced , few bushes, pads and replaced lower arms too.

After Shock replacement, comfort has increased by a great margin,i never knew alto was so comfortable.[lol] Handling is better now, steering feels good ,less vibrations and less sound inside the cabin.

Attaching some pics. They speak more than my words.[clap]

Well done, Aneesh. How much cost involved for the replacements along with the bushes and lower arms?. Alto is comfortable anyway!
